To: The Rheinland Government Officials
From: Ageira Technologies Captain of Medicine Bow
Subject: Commodity addition to Embargo

Dear Sirs/Ma'am,

First I would like to say that I have the up most respect for your military personnel, I have been treated in the up most safe and respectful manner when I encountered them. I would like to take a minute of your precious time to speak to you not on behalf of Ageira, I have no legal or authority to speak on their behalf, but that of a modest Captain of a trade ship.

The embargo set forth due to the current state of war, I am sure, has been hard on your government and your administration. I would like to point out that under the current embargo it is stated the following "§2.1. Ageira or DSE hauling Gate or Trade Lane Parts" This is very clear in effect that the Ageira corporation is only to transport Gate or Trade Lane Parts inside of the Rheinland house space.

It seems to me that though it is ok to import the finished item, it is not legal under the embargo for the Ageira Technologies to export the raw material that is indeed needed for the creation of these lane parts. Though the manufacturing of these parts are strictly confidential and held in the top most employment of the research and development wing, it is a known fact among the trade industry that the Pueblo Station who manufacture these said parts for most of the known space houses, purchases the process material of Cobalt
from the Freistadt Base.

It would seem that it would profit your house to allow this transaction as it increases the demand for this material. This would benefit both the House of Rheinland and the Ageira corporation. It would also allow the pueblo depot to manufacture the lane parts faster and this would allow us to replace those parts inside the Rheinland space that were damaged or destroyed due to the current hostilities within your house space. As you can see the document of http://discoverygc.com/wiki/index.php/Freistadt_Base that we would purchase this commodity here.

Granted, Ageira could use other means of obtaining this commodity, but this increases the cost of the parts for your house. If you were to allow Ageira to import this cobalt from your house it would keep the prices down. It is up to your government of corse, but if this provision inst granted then you will see a lot less traffic inside your house space and also your trade lane and jump gates would not get the needed attention.

Once again I hold no authority at all other then that as a trade captain coming before you in humbleness seeking your approval.

Thank you kindly.

Guten tag

I was wondering, you state that you are only the captain of one vessel, are you negotiating a license to ship Cobalt for only your vessel or for the entire Ageira fleet? That makes a difference you see.

Secondly, the Federal Republic of Rheinland wishes to strengthen our own companies, as opposed to the Independent Miners Guild. If you would agree to purchase the cobalt from Briesan instead of Friesdadt, your case would be viewed much more favorably.

As a final point of clarification, you are looking to purchase the refined cobalt, not cobalt ore correct?

Sir:

It would deem that it would be for my lone ship as the captain and in no official manner for the whole Ageira Technologies that I humbly come before your office in seeking this request. However, if you see fit to enable the whole corporation of Ageira the rights to the refined cobalt then I would be more then willing to take your response to the leadership of Ageira for them to reflect and pursue in their own desire.

As the Captain of my vessel, it is my duty to chart the trade route that my ship is to use and to keep a record of this route. Seeing as how the Rheinland Government needs the Gate/Lane parts, it was my own thoughts to seek another cargo for shipment out of the Rheinland House to supplement my route. It is too time consuming and costly to leave this space with an empty cargo freighter.

According to my nav computer, I see that both the Briesen Mining Facility and Friesdadt Base are within the same system, so I do not see this as being a problem for me to purchase the Cobalt from the Briesan Mining Station. I am glad that I was given the opportunity to speak to you Minister.

I thank you for your time and assistance in this matter.

Thank you,

Guten tag Shunkaha Wanagi,

Since this is only for a single vessel, the Ministry of Trade has decided to allow this shipping license. The license fee of 2 million credits can be sent to RFP|Arsenal. Once that is received, your license will be issued.

There are a few other provisions. I will enumerate them here:

1) You will purchase refined cobalt from Briesan. If you are found with cobalt from any other station your cargo may be confiscated.
2) You will travel only in the systems of Stuttgart, New Berlin, and Hamburg with cobalt. We see no reason for you to be going into Frankfurt, Munich, and Dresden with this cargo, ja?
3) If you are found with illegal cargo, or in restricted space, your cargo will be confiscated, and your license will be up for immediate review.
4) This license is granted to only your vessel. Please forward the full identification of your vessel now.

Please acknowledge acceptance of these terms and conditions here for your license to be valid.

Note that any further Ageira licenses for cobalt will be granted to the corporation only.

Thank you for your business.

I also will assume that you will notify the proper authorities that this ship is registered to export the cobalt from the specific systems as agreed upon. And on a side note, is it illegal to transport mining machinery from Bonn to Briesan? I would do this to help the house as I am sure they are in need of this machinery and it would be with in the route indicated.

It would seem that my employers have decided that I have upheld the morals and ethics of the high standards that is held by Ageira and they have authorized me to speak to you on obtaining a legal right to haul Cobalt for the entire industry and all of its Ageira| ships. I would like to begin these talks at this time. I will humbly await your response to this matter at your most convenient time. I have been authorized by the Ageira Corporation to purchase this mineral and shipping rights as stated for the Medicine Bow for the entire Corporation and have been allocated a certain sum of credits. If a meaningful amount of credits is agreed upon then the rights could be purchased immediately.

Thank you,

Guten tag Herr Wanagi,

After consulting the necessary departments, the licensing fee for the entire corporation of Ageira will be 75,054,753 credits, deposited to the account RFP|Arsenal.

Am I correct in assuming that this license only applies to pilots with the Ageira| infonet ID?

Do note that all previous restrictions will be applied to the entire company. If the Federal Polizei are forced to deal with too many law infractions from Ageira, this license may, at the discretion of the Bundestag, be revoked. The fee is non refundable.

Do you agree to these terms and conditions?
