Good day Department of Security, I have interesting news to report on the matters of The_Raven.

Today after returning to Trenton Outpost on a exploratory trade run between REDACTED and REDACTED I encountered a Mr.Sorn firing on Trenton in a Rhino.

I took a position at the base and ordered Mr.Sorn to remain 5K from the outpost and he complied and backed off.
At which point Mr.Sorn went into detail as to the meaning of his attack,
apparently The_Raven had captured Mr.Sorn and his family (His wife and a child five years of age I believe he said it was) he claimed that the Raven was holding them captive on The_Defector.

I spoke for some time with Mr.Sorn, discussing how terrorist acts against the station were not likely to get his family back and how they were in fact more likely to warrant a bounty being placed on his head and him being declared an enemy of Libery and Universal.

Mr.sorn did seem to have concern for our employees and asked me countless times to evacuate everyone from the station as he was "not a murderer" I of course refused to give the order to evacuate the station. Not only do I not posses the clearance to give such a command, but I have seen far larger ships then a Rhino fail to destroy far smaller bases then the Trenton.

After a while of discussions with Mr. Sorn most of which he remained outside of the 5k radius I ordered him to(apart from one a couple incidents but none that he came close enough to attempt another attack) an LNS vessel showed up. After explaining the situation to the LNS officer they returned to patrolling as the situation did not appear like it was going to escalate.

(I cannot remember the ships call sign and my logs seem to have been fried due to a internal server malfunction on board the Columbus I believe is from buzzing one to many suns recently.)

After some more talk with Mr. Sorn, explaining to him that The_Raven had been a thorn in USI's side as of recently and admittedly telling him that The Raven probably had no intention of releasing his family, seeing as he had sent Mr. Sorn to attack a heavily guard base in the heart of New York in a Rhino. at one point during these discussions the Jacksonville undocked from Manhattan. I explained the situation and since I had the situation mostly under control the Jacksonville went trading after some brief exchange with Mr. Sorn.

By the time the LSF Agent(Again I cannot remember the callsigns and my logs are missing currently but I believe it was something with an R...) I was starting to run short on patients and believe on at least one occasion told Mr. Sorn, that I was certain due to his reputation that not only did The Raven have no intention of releasing his family but that they were "probably already dead or worse." I admit it was probably in poor taste, but I had been dealing with him for sometime and was just attempting to defuse the situation anyway possible.

Mind you again, through all of Mr Sorn made no attempts to attack the base while I was there, and as stated before remained mostly outside the 5K radius I'd told him to and was not hostile, just seemed to be a man in a bad situation who wasn't clearly thinking.

I have the tech teams on Trenton working to repair my log files as we speak hopefully they will find them and be able to restore them.
