So, I've been working on some of our contracts and organization on the forums for the same with OSI, putting threads in our faction subforum and all, and as usual my organizational OCD began to kick in, leading to the following question:

Would it be possible to have subforums within our own official faction forums for purely organizational purposes?

I do realize that this would be purely out of convenience if we talk about organization. The only precedent we have for this currently would be the QCP Subforum in the BAF Board as the latter faction absorbed the former, but given that this is supposed to be our space, how far could we as factions go to arranging said allotment? Perhaps allowing one or two subs per faction board except for in special cases, if any at all?

In the example case of OSI, I'd be looking for a subforum where we could drop our contract threads in a convenient place so as to make them easy to access for the people we're roleplaying with and also leave our main board relatively clean given that it does hold a few useful resources. And I hate clutter. I'm sure other factions would have their own desires as far as what content would be, of course.

IC doesn't need it. Yet. But such thing would definatly help some sorting out for few factions.

I vote "gief such right"

Would be handy for those that want it.

Dare I suggest that faction leaders get the right to moderate their own factions sub-forums?

While this would be incredibly convenient (especially for cleaning up mess by other people that shouldn't be in our subforum), and I've seen it done on other forums, our factions are in too much flux to be worth keeping up on, I think, and that not all of our leaders - past, present, and future - could be trusted with the right. Generally things get done quickly enough just by shooting a PM to a moderator, in my experience.

Of course, that's all moot as Snak3 noted the thought was denied a little while back.
