Alright...
So I messed up... here's the short version...
I installed some mod to make the lighting more realistic n' it worked fine. (The mod was allowed to use with Discovery, found it from the forums) I played online and all for a while but didn't like the looks of it so I decided to deactivate the mod...
and poof...
Everything went nuts... first I could start Freelancer but when I tried to go ingame (SP or MP) the game crashed to desktop. I tought that I'd just re-install everything and be fine... unistalled FAM, FMM and Freelancer... then installed (only, no mods) Freelancer again, but when i start it, it plays the opening cutscenes normally but as soon as it should go to the main menu it crashes without a word.
I've tried to reinstall Freelancer multiple times but it allways ends with the same results.
Please help me D;
EDIT: Seems to be workin' for now... I'll post something if it doesn't

I've had this happen before. Try installing it to My Documents or your user folder, rather than Program Files. It worked for me.

Happened to me before too. I installed a program called Revo Uninstaller and used that to uninstall freelancer and FMM. I just reinstalled 'em after and it all worked out.
