Mining Event

Comrades,
ICMG (the Independent Communist Miner's Guild) will be commencing new mining operations near Liberty space. We feel this is the perfect opportunity to make some new comrades.
I have set aside some of my worker's credits to fund this expedition. All that is required is an eagerness to work; All necessary, ships/equipment will be provided.
If you are interested, please reply here. Also please remember to include times that you would probably be available, sometime next week. Hopefully we'll be able to arrange a time which works for everyone.
I look forward to hearing from you all, on behalf of ICMG and our comrades.
In friendship and labour,

Basically, if you're new to disco, or new to mining and would like to make a bit of money, please reply here and keep an eye on this thread for a week. (that being said, experienced miners are welcome too, just bear in mind that this event is aimed at newer players so will be rather hectic)
The plan is, We'll help you set up a new character, get a miner ID. I'll buy you probably a maffic or a dacite each, out of my own pocket. Then we will take you mining, hopefully somewhere relatively safe and easy, where you can get a feel for mining and ask any questions about mining bonuses/IDs/mining spots and stuff. ICMG will haul your ore for you and give you a tasty profit for your hard work.:)
Please remember to tell us what times you are probably available.

A'course I don't have much experience minin', hell I don't have much of anythin', but not long ago I threw my lot in to get me a spaceship, since then I've just been driftin' round the Liberty systems tryin' ter scrape a livin'. I'm more than willin' ter give a hard days' work, I would any day, 'nd I always knew there was work out there, it's just not so easy to find!

The event will happen Saturday the 5th, probably somewhere between 7pm SMT and late, seeming as that's when most people are available. I'll be available on comms on one of my ships, which will have the ICMG[SL26S] tag in its name.
We'll loiter around Penny at around 7pm, and then move to magellan as people turn up. Later moving to Kansas to mine iridium, which we will sell in Leeds or Newcastle.
Anyone who wishes to help out is very much welcome. However, only on the condition that you're not hostile to ICMG or IMG, as it may cause a few....problems.
I hope you can all make it; Feel free to invite others.

I'm good for the weekend or damn near any time you want to set the event for. Jeni, if she's not tied up with some school event, will be happy to join in too.
We can provide haulers or miners. Just find out how the IMG ID/IFF will fare in your chosen location, I'd rather not give up the ID/IFF combos we currently have on our mining craft.
