To Bretonia Armed Forces high command

Given the last news, i can understand your resources may be limited.
The cabal is however not asking you to divert any.

Please allow me to clarify a few points :

- Why a 'Jinkusu' class vessel ?

Our cabal is a Discordian entity or 'sect'. We are currently more than 2300 people.
All those people could never live in a vessel with a small tonnage. We considered to commission a liner, however such vessels are not well fitted for autonomy over a long period of time.

Now we know the reputation of the 'Jinkusu'. The ships built using that legendary design pattern were sometimes used for war - and they fulfilled that role with efficiency, so i heard.

The cabal was however looking for a home, not a mean to harm or destroy others.
It was decided that ship would totally unarmed, to state clearly the Golden Apple Corps would be our home, not a templar or military vessel.

But i understand your point. This will technically still be a Battleship, even if harmless.
We hoped you would agree to consider it as a colony; A home accommodating a lot of people.

- Why loitering in Bretonia ?

We are Discordians, and thus, believe in things you might find strange. One of them is some places, such as the Geode, are odd energy nexuses, favorable for meditation, magick rituals and others spiritual activities.
We are looking for those places, to allow our popes to consult their pineal around those nexuses to see what the Goddess will whisper to them.

Many of us also never left Baffin. They are curious about the people of Sirius's cultures and would like to learn what they can from them.

Rest assured we do not seek to convert people to Discordianism, however. The Erisians respect others beliefs.

The cabal will have a home very soon : The Golden Apple Corps. We do not seek to settle anywhere in Bretonia.

- What were we asking ?

We were asking two things :
- To be able to transit via Bretonia sovereign space to reach places we couldn't travel to without Bretonia's permission.
- To be able to stop for a moment in your space to carry on our Discordian activities.

The cabal decided to set a week as the maximum time spent in Bretonia space arbitrarily.
We hoped that amount of time would be short enough to not bother Bretonia's subjects and authorities.

I'm humbly asking you, milord, to reconsider all those points.
We won't invade Bretonia. The Golden Apple Corps won't even moor to any of your bases.
We aren't asking any particular protection from Bretonia Armed Forces. Our proposition to inform the Primary Fleet of our presence any time we would enter in Bretonia seemed to be the minimum courtesy to us.

However, if you do not wish to negotiate this further, i will understand.
I took the liberty to comment those points since the permission of Bretonia is quite important for us.
The easiest way to reach Omega 49 is indeed via Bretonia space.
