As the title says. The House of Lords and House of Commons threads' first post could use some spiffing up, and it'd also help people posting in them to have a description of the layout and decoration of the room they are working in.

http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=106252 (House of Lords)
http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=106254 (House of Commons)

If you make a really good one that I use, I'll give you 50 million credits in-game. 100 million if you write a good one for both threads.

What I need;

At least some description on the layout of the room. The rooms should be similar to modern-day parliamentary chambers.

Description of the decoration of the room.

Anything else.

Some comments on the Houses' history might also be good.

Give me a week and I'll do both for free when I get home. The layout of both houses was a part of my politics course, and I have notes and a textbook for reference. I can do a primer on politics RP too. There are certain things people'll need to know before they start posting.

Just a note Dab... In the UK, The house of commons tends not to be led by someone who is a lord peer. I think the last time there was a Lord who became prime minister, it was in 1881.

The title 'house of commons' although something of a poor name, considering the majority of the people that fill it are old Etonians and mindblowingly wealthy, but they tend not to be lords...

This I know. Bretonia is formed around Imperial Britain (1815-1914), which is why we had a Lord as the PM, and why we've had the Royalists and Monarchy be much more powerful than the 19th/20th century British parliament system.

I don't expect the PM to always be a lord (most Lords will probably prefer to enter the House of Lords rather than forgo that right in order to join the Commons). But Liam has been RPing the PM for a long time, so I decided to just keep him on there for the start until the Commons has enough players and activity to appoint their own amongst themselves.
