How to setup a LAN game on my PC? - TrueCandy - 02-24-2008
I want to run a server on my PC and play in it. However, the server I setup does not show up in neither LAN or Internet multiplayer option. I was able to do it before (2 years ago or so) but cannot now. I have tried the following but still not work:
- Global server workaround
- Open port 2300 - 2400 UDP & TCP
- Turn off Bitdefender/allow FL in biidefender firewall/using bitdefender game mode
I am using win Vista the moment.
Any help is highly appreciated.

Vista is a jerk, IMHO. Might be simply the fact you're using it.
