I wish they had made an Imperium Galactica 3 instead of Nexus. I haven't played the game, but saw a Let's Play of it. It wasn't bad, but...it's still the reason why Imperium Galactica was discontinued! And that's quite sad.

Very awesometastic.
Nexus was way ahead of its time with its mechanics and superior DX9 engine (Black Sun, the in house unique engine by Mithis). I still occasionally play mods with it and I'm still really impressed with it. But development for a sequel now would be considerably harder since the times have moved on and gamers now demand more from a unique genre such as this. Best of luck to whoever picks it up.

Afaik, nexus turned out that boring, ****ty and railroaded because they didn't implement 90% of what they wanted. Something tells me that this time, it will get even worse. Np. Don't get your hopes high. You're going to get mass effect: Jupiter incident.
