I am glad to talk to you, in times of peace again, even if it is an unstable one yet.

Let me come to the point directly, if you don't mind, ladies and gentlemen. As you all are aware of, both our houses have signed a ceize fire, and for the time of the negotiations until a formal, and hopefully everlasting peace treaty is signed, the trade between our houses is open again.

By this, the Merchant Navy has retaken the opportunity to bring in supplies to Bretonia from Rheinland, too.
As result of our last... let's say, border struggle... both our sides suffered of increasing distrust in the respective other house, and as a result of this, also we are in a state of ceize fire, the Merchant Navy cannot operate under the circumstances we are used to in Rheinland, because our escort squadron didn't receive security clearance yet. Which I can fully understand, of course.

I just have one formal request. I would like to ask for the permission to use one single Bretonian Gunboat as escort vessel in Rheinland space yet, until we have made progress in further diplomacy, so that the regulations of the old contract can be renegotiated. Not only the Merchant Navy Convoys, but also the Rheinland Military could benefit of a single gunboat escorting our convoys, as it ever has been, because of you, ladies and gentlemen, would have some sort of increased scanner range, relating to pirate activities.

Me and my men, same as the kingdom of Bretonia, are willing to rebuild the trust that was lost. I hope, you also see a chance to do so.
