Freeport 7 - Ash - 02-25-2008

Ive been thinking my noodle for ages now and i can't figure out where Freeport 7 would have been stationed. It had to be in the Tau systems between Freeport 6 and Freeport 8 because i spose anybody who can count can figure that out. But i'm confuddled :wacko: about where it could have been.

Anybody have any Ideas?

Wasnt it stationed in Omicron Lost?

Cus i think that was the only reason for that system too be in disco...

I would think Omicron Lost as well but since it's not there...
See that big empty hole on the top right of the system map?
Yeah put that bad boy there when a few new systems are put in place.

Me thinks there is NO "Freeport 7" in Discovery right now.
Only Freeports i've found: 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, XV [Omicron-74]
And me being here for quite some time already:)

rebuilding it would be kinda neat but wouldn't it conflict with anyone playing through the campaign?

The wreckage of Freeport 7 is in the Sigma-19 system, in sector 3E, but the intro movie for discovery (where Freeport 7 blew up) was in the Omicron Lost system (if you look to the left, you'll see the purple planet in Omicron Lost). Also, I believe that Freeports 3, 8, 12, 13, and 14 (XV is the Roman numeral for 15) don't exist (although we should try to add them if we can). It would also be nice to see some wrecks in Omicron Lost, since there's nothing there and those wrecks could represent some fighters who managed to get out of Freeport 7, but were destroyed by the explosion or the Nomads.

And that, Monk, is one of the things holding back Disco, in my not-so-humble opinion.

Sticking to Single-Player playability is all well-and-good, but it's been 15 years...time to move on.

Again, I think we need seperate SP and server mods. That way SP can be balanced and nice, and multiplayer can be awesome.
