To FP6 command and Doc Holiday - Tigger - 08-19-2011 ![]() Greetings Sirs, I cannot begin to express my appreciation at the camaraderie I have experienced in interacting with your warriors acting as Doctor Holiday's bodyguards while on Gran Canaria. I have found their straightforwardness refreshing and have endeavored to learn their language. The assistance of the good Doctor and the TAZ as mediators during the crisis at Freeport 1 was immense, and you have my thanks and gratitude for your assistance in overcoming our problems with the Rheinland authorities. I can only wish that such would be possible for our relations with Bretonia. Three items of note and the reasons for this transmission are the following: A. A short time ago my executive officer in our security department came under attack by pirates while in Kusari space. Although Freeport 6 was not far, the pirate group was between him and the base. Instead he opted for the jump hole to Baffin. Sensors damaged, the autopilot informed him that Shasta was for TAZ members only, and so landed at Pueblo for repairs and resupply. The error was discovered very quickly after docking. Repairs were completed quickly and the talks were genuinely friendly. Our thanks to you for assisting him. This brings to mind, however, that our FP1 ships do not have docking access to the shrine for supplies, and we have several persons at the station, myself included, who would like to learn more about Discordia. I would thus like to request permission for [FP1] tagged ships to dock, or at the very least, allow myself and a small number of ships belonging to those who are interested in becoming acolytes permission to visit. B. I spent ten years in deep space before returning to the Sirius systems. The majority of that time was spent alone, and I read the old historical records over and over again. What I see in Sirius now is not unlike the events of ancient history in the Sol system from whence we all came. I noticed this shortly after returning to Sirius and have been working on preparations for the coming events on my own and with some others I have met. While there has been a cease fire between Rheinland and Bretonia, and free trade begun again, we at Freeport 1 remain alert. The activity level of our security forces have been reduced, however, to do less need for large numbers of ships in space at a time. I had previously had commissioned a Fearless class destroyer, but it was not readied before the stand down of hostilites between the two houses. It has since completed its construction and outfitting, and has just completed its shakedown cruise. Though intended for use at Freeport 1, I have given orders that it make its way to Freeport 6 at best speed to assist in the defensive line there. Understand, however, that if the situation at FP1 once again heats up, I will have to recall the ship home. C. My own preparations for the coming events is nearly complete. We lack only some supplies and spare parts, which our transports and traders are acquiring daily. As these preparations draw to a close, I have several escort pilots who have expressed an interest in Freeport 6 as the coming front lines in this new conflict. To wit, I have authorized a conference class gunboat, three fighter and two bomber snubcraft to join with the FP6 forces. Please note, however, that only part A, the request for access to FP1 ships, is me speaking as the Freeport 1 2IC. This position came upon me during the conflict there. The fearless class ship and pilots are from my own fleet of gathered citizens preparing for the coming onslaught. I trust that I have not endangered them or their mission in having made this transmission. Koplah Genine San Savage ![]() To FP6 command and Doc Holiday - Malaclypse 666 - 08-19-2011 .:Via: Fordnet Secure Comms:. To: Ms. San Savage From: Malaclypse, Pueblo Bonito Kallisti, Genine. My compliments on your fine work at Freeport 1 in the absence of Administrator Summers. It's a bloody shame that both he, and our CFO, Reginald Waverly, are "cooling their heels" on Canaria, waiting for a "summons" from the BAF's Ms. Hunter. Every day that passes is an indication of Bretonia's disdain for the historical defacto sovereignty of Zoner stations. As Episkopos of the Temple, I have authority to grant your [FP1] tagged vessels access to Pueblo Bonito. If you could provide a list of those ships for security purposes, I will gladly do so. As to your interest in our Church, I would be happy to meet with you at the Kiva whenever you feel compelled to learn of our Goddess. As to the deployment of vessels at Freeport 6, I'm sure Commander Matok will get back to you shortly. Lux et Voluptas, Mal To FP6 command and Doc Holiday - Tigger - 08-19-2011 ![]() Greetings Malaclypse, Thank you for your response. The vessels would be [FP1] tagged in their transponder. Specific ships who would wish to dock and learn more information would be: [FP1].The.Francisco [FP1].Joh.Raven [FP1].Freedom's.Hope [FP1].Genine.San.Savage [FP1].Southern.Cross [FP1].Northern.Star Big.Sky Martin.Q.Blank White.Tiger Cerulean.Sins (non-Zoner freelancer BWT who assists with Freeport 1 supplies) Please inform me of any docking and service fees that may be incurred. I will handle this out of my personal accounts. Thank you, Genine ![]() To FP6 command and Doc Holiday - Malaclypse 666 - 08-19-2011 Comm ID: E-Prime Kallisti again, Genine! My, that's quite a group of "Pilgrims" you have there. To avoid confusion, however, I would prefer to limit Temple access to those ships actually bearing the [FP1] tag. The remainder would be advised to seek "on-site" permissions from any on-duty Templar. Spiritual guidance at the Kiva is also available for thos ships not identified as part of your defense group, by prior request. I hope this will be satisfactory. Mal To FP6 command and Doc Holiday - Tigger - 08-19-2011 ![]() Thank you for your kindness. I will inform those on the list who are not [FP1] tagged that they can travel with those who are. The Hope and Francisco have room for passengers. Thanks again Mal, when this summit is done with, I will be heading to Baffin myself after a brief stopover back at FP1. Genine ![]() To FP6 command and Doc Holiday - Cmdr. Blaine Chara - 08-19-2011 *incoming transmission* Comm ID: Commander Matok, Freeport 6 Administrator Location: Freeport 6, Tau 29 System To: Genine San Savage Greetings, Ms. San Savage, Let me say that I very much appreciate your kind words about my people. While it has been some time since I last visited my people on Gran Canaria, your name is mentioned. You should consider that an honor as my people choose their friends very carefully. I do know that a group of them are presently on Freeport 1 with a Fearless destroyer and a bomber. Again, it has been some time since I last heard from them. Amazing, we became Zoners because we were not accepted by others, even laughed at. Well, it seems that now we may actually find appreciation. Do not make the mistake of over extending yourself. Do not leave one place open to save another. Whatever help you do send will however be appreciated. You need not worry about food and drink. We have plenty here. I will say that with the influx of ships coming in, extra parts may be at a premium. I am working on that problem as we speak. He looks at Ms. San Savage's picture and softly smiles When you arrive, do let me know. I must have a drink with you. qa'plAH Matok |
