There is little benefit in concealing the obvious. Reports indicate, that Royal skirmishing has intensified in what is but a prelude before the main invasion force's arrival. And during those very skirmishes I often hear of Fleet and Council units fighting and winning shoulder to shoulder.
Thus it is my proposition, that due to common enemies and lack of conflicting goals, a treaty of alliance should exist between the Colonial State and the Council of Gaul.
The following points are to be mirrored if accepted.
1. The Colonial State pledges to answer every call for military support from the Council, be it in an offensive expedition or defense against aggression by a third party.
2. The Colonial State allows the Council to stage military assets out of Colonial space and installations.
3. The Colonial State grants the Council free and unrestricted trade rights
4. The Colonial State agrees to extradite criminals and/or prisoners of war at Council request
5. The Colonial State agrees to prospectively license or ship military hardware at Council request.
6. Additional points, clarifications and alternations will be added to this treaty should the need arise.

The Council concurs. The threat of the Royal Fleet is increasing each day, now more than ever should we seek to defend our homes and way's of life from the Crown. The Treaty you have suggested has been studied and agreed upon by the Council. We believe and hope that it will strengthen the bonds between our two people in the coming tumult.
