Decent idea. How would you.........interact...with the SELF? In the sense that we both are "Robot Nations" and both have a.....important entity on Gammu? The SELF has the Oracle/Prophet/Central Matrix (all synonyms for "Oracle"). And you gents have the Evermind? We definately cant ignore each other, and neither are in each others' history. Cant ignore two "major movements" from the same planet yes?
p.s. if you posted something about the SELF in there, quote it. i must have overlooked it.

Wow... Very nice, chap, very nice. I especially liked the in-depth background, and the inclusion of Gammu in the history (That planet really is overlooked, even thought it is awesome). There were one of two places in which the writing in this post could be smoothed out; If you want help with that, skype me, my skype name is azreales27, I can rewrite one or two parts of the post to increase the 'flow.' That being said, the writing is pretty good as-is.
Also, on the topic of SELF|, I have personally read alot of their RP, and they are very smart group of guys. I would highly suggest that these two groups merge into one entity, as their goals are highly similar, and each seems to fill in the gaps of the other.
Discovery needs a good AI faction, and maybe if the current AI factions combined, we could see something great come out of ideas like this.

Hmm SELF. First time i heard of, no offense but i was out of the game for sometime.... RL....
Anyway we can unite the SELF and the Synchronized empire into one and form one faction.
I always liked to be only one faction on an ID.... unofficial or not. So awaiting suggestions on how we can do it.
As for the story , later this day , when i come from work, will present more of it. And i am waiting for the SELF leader to contact me on skype: atreides25 to talk a bit.
I think that the AI can do alot more in disco and would be fun to play.
Again so there won't be anything , how the faction is going to work.
For a few weeks or monthsin RL ,the Robots will venture the sirius, seeking intel on humans and other sentient robotic lifeforms and would try to install evermind copies in order to help the humans to achieve an order and to make their life easier.
When and if the AI ID is changed and can attack people,the Empire will strike at humans seeing them as too chaotic ,wanting to bring them toward the Empire so all the "resources" be used efficiently.
Of course that the robots ships would be destroyed , but no worry ,gammu haz resources and robots can mine other planetoids or asteroid fields cause ....they don't need any atmosphere.
Also raids on the Primus will start ( when i was around there was an ape factions so...) attacks on the corsairs and etc.

I personally am digging the "combine robotz ftw" idea. BUT the SELF was made by 4 people, "The Concensus" inRP is around four individuals. Therefore, the "SELF Leader" will be inviting you into a Skype chat with 4 pplz.

The background you have is extensive and quite impressive. <strike>Although, the gubernatorial sections of our "Organizations" are quite different</strike>(Look at EDIT). From what I can tell.
Note: About the "Central Matrix" I mentioned earlier. Its not the "Leading machine/watev" of the SELF. Its just our main Hub. If that goes out, our "Updates" cease. The Concensus are the "caretakers" of it, but also oorp run the forum side of things, perm techs, rec., MD, etc.
If you happen to see a SELF|Acceptus.Dilectus OR SELF|Aeternus.Libertas, in game. Just pm me and ill begin skyping. I am free to skype in about 8 or 9 hours

I haz question regarding the Zoner Tech you have listed.
Have you gotten these approved allready?
And btw, the Zoner cruisers are a no go since AI ID only allows for the AI cruiser.
Otherwise, I like the writeup so far.
What is your views on the Virulian Enclave? How will the SE (And SELF| if they merge with you) act towards us?

In support of Serpentice, if you want to use Zoner tech, you should make good diplomacy with them although I do like the story line of old, abandoned equipment.
Also, you should list diplomatics and such. You know, friend, foes and neutrals.

Yes, Zoner diplomacy is Key, especially considering that most AIs will be using Zoner IFFs, along with the fact that the machines on Gammu are descendants of Zoner-made Robots. The key will be to reconsile the desire to assimilate the population with their ancience programming to help out zoners. However, I leave this to the hands of the faction members; I won't write their RP for them, and I trust a solution will be found.
One thing I am a bit disappointed about is the AI ID's inability to use any ships bigger than the AI cruiser. Personally, a Jinkustu would make a great Hive Ship in my opinion. Still, as far as diplomacy with the VE, I'm looking forward to how it turns out, as it will be very, VERY interesting:)
