GNN News: Liberty Gunboat Patrol Lost on the Edge of the Badlands
Reports from the Battleship Missouri have indicated that an unidentified Liberty Cruiser has attacked and destroyed a naval gunboat patrol along the edge of the badlands near West Point Academy. The patrol consisted of 3 fighters and the LNS Gunboat Aztec. All, save one fighter, were lost. The surviving fighter pilot, LNF Escort Lt. Richerd gave the following statement to GNN:
It came from out of the clouds and blasted Charlie with its first shot. We didn't even see it at first. Then it opened up on the gunboat... Kyle and I were trying to make it to the point, but it bagged him too. I'm just lucky I made it back here in one piece.
Further patrols in the area are continuing to search for the unknown cruiser.
