[color=#99FFFF][font=Times New Roman]Greetings Mr McKay.

We, the Board of Guild Masters, wouldn't have decided to directly contact you if the matter wasn't of outmost importance.

We are aware that the alien threat is not over yet. The aliens who immensely tried to destroy humanity they now patiently increase their power and wait for the right moment to hit in full force. The Independent Miners Guild has been monitoring with great concern the increased alien activity in the upper Taus for quite some time.

We eventually assembled a team of highly specialized agents to find out more about the aliens and their connection with another power in the region, the Outcasts. The Glasgow Archive is the fruit of our agents' research.

Mr Secretary, according to the evidence it is clear that the Outcasts have betrayed humanity and work for the aliens. Cardamine, a drug which is produced by the Outcasts, alters the human DNA and is distributed in the Colonies, might also be part of their plan.

We believe that weakening the Outcasts and stopping their infiltration to the Houses is the best way to protect ourselves from the alien threat.

Bretonia in these dire times, was forced to find powers which could help them. Eventually they improved their relations with Outcasts, legalizing them within Bretonian space and allowing small amounts of cardamine. That was actually a logical move. But what if Outcasts promote the alien's agenda? Then by any means we cannot allow this to continue. It is our great responsibility as humans to stop that. Unfortunately the IMG does not have the power to offer an alternative way to Bretonia. That's why we come here and ask you to help us in our efforts.

Liberty is currently spending lots of money in cargo interdiction patrols in the Independent Worlds. If BPA actively participates in these cardamine interception patrols, then the results would be even better and lots of money will be released from Liberty treasuries and could be able to be sent directly into Bretonia's war economy. We are sure that there are plenty of other ways as well, which can support Bretonia and render the Outcast advantages, insignificant.

As long as Outcasts and their drug remain unlawful in all Houses, their power won't ever exceed the limits. They are a threat to humanity and every responsible human organisation should consider that.

The Board of Guild Masters

Mr Secretary, the Board is worried by your lack of responce.

The Independent Miners Guild Board;

Your information confirms what we already suspected, but there is precious little in our power to do above what is already done.

Any actions the Kingdom of Bretonia takes against the Outcasts will quite possibly result in the Outcasts withdrawing the indirect military support that they provide to help combat the Empire of Kusari. This military support is not something we can replace; we have our own war to conduct, and Kusari have not provoked us as they have Bretonia.

That is the simple and short answer to the question of the Outcasts and the Kingdom of Bretonia. I don't like it either, but our hands are tied. It's up to the Bretonian public to decide whether sacrificing their values and morals in exchange for victory is a price worth paying.

[color=#99FFFF][font=Times New Roman]Greetings Mr McKay.

Your previous message was received and we understand your reluctance to act. Unfortunately, things have progressed a lot since the last time we talked.

We are refering to the secret allowance of Outcast capital ships to operate within Bretonia House Space, effectivelly increasing Bretonia's military dependancy on the Outcasts. Furthermore, IMG has procured evidence which show that the Border World Exports are transporting Ship Hull Panels to the Outcast Home System, Omicron Alpha.

The aforementioned facts show that the relations between Bretonia and Outcasts are rapidly strengthening. Taking into consideration the collaboration between Outcasts and the aliens, as the Glasgow Archive so dreadfully showed, there are some chances that the Bowex shipments to Alpha are more than that, if we take into account the freedom that aliens enjoy in that system and their powers to host human bodies. Regardless, this has not been proved yet, however it still shows, in the most blatant way, the necessity to stop it now before it is too late.

Some weeks ago the Colonial Republic declared war on Kusari, as you probably know. Taking also into consideration Colonial's diplomacy with the Gallic Royalists, we believe that an alliance between Bretonia and the Colonials can be easily merged. If that happens, then Bretonia's military dependancy on the Outcasts won't exist as it will be replaced by the active assistance and alliance with CR. Hopefully, then Outcasts won't be welcomed in Bretonia anymore.

It is in Colonial Republic's intentions to bring this matter to the Bretonian admiralty in their talks about the formalisation of the alliance. Out MPs in the Parliament will give their own fight too. Mr Secretary, we would like to ask you to support it as well, in your talks with your Bretonian colleagues. The opportunity to stop this dangerous relationship is unique primarily because it does not demand us to directly support Bretonia in its war efforts; this will done by the Colonial Republic.

The times that we travel through are critical and we are certain that your decision will be a wise one, Mr Secretary.

Signal Boosted.

To: Robert McKay, Secretary of State for Defense - The Republic Of Liberty - 11-25-2011

The Independent Miners Guild Board;

Despite how regrettable the Bretonian position is, it's not something I can change. The Republic would prefer a different situation, but we are not willing to exert foreign relations pressure on Bretonia at this time. I've told you our position, and that's one which can't change right now.

We wish you well on your attempts to help the Kingdom of Bretonia against the Empire of Kusari and the Outcasts, but we cannot intervene. Unfortunately, there's no wiggle-room for me to use on this issue.
