It occurred to me that Freelancer is so upscale that were dealing with planets, systems, stars and stations. When we say these things, these are colonies of millions of people, and theres alot more detail than that than just a ball that supposedly houses X amount of humans and a jelly or two.

To me there's always been more to the year 3000 than rocket ships. There's always been space men with crazy Z5000 helmets and light sabers that cut your bread and toast it at the same time. Clones are every day people you meet and Robots do more than just assemble things.

Obviously all of that in Freelancer would be a bit farfetched judging by the type of future we have here. But my question is, do you find yourself curious about these sort of things when you play Freelancer?

Don't feel bad if your answer is no. It's useful information for me if your happy to tick a box.

Thanks a bunch.

Obviously, because it's more interesting that way.

Does Ariel Engineering still accept orders on that "hovercraft
"?

I'l get back to you on that via PM.

But for everyone else who's interested.

Yes.

I'd totally fly that hovercraft. And yeah, sometimes I think about the details. Especially when I consider that, even though we all play as if people in spaceships are the most normal of all, all those millions of people on the colonies can't and probably never will be able to afford a ship.

Well, most people here don't think about these details, but those who write the little RP stories and sit still in-game mostly roleplaying, probably think about the details.

To answer the poll's question: Of course. History, experiments, terrestrial life, 'underground' life, warfare and any other 'detail' is important for me and I find it interesting.
