Is Story different with the 4.84 mod on? - Tomtomrawr - 03-06-2008 I have recently started playing Story again, and the 4.84 final mod has been on. I've started Story and have noticed some things that i don't remember. Like at the beginning where that Rhienland Cruiser gets blown up by Manhatten by the Order and you have to fight the Order, and when Willard is attacked there are Rhienland GB's. Also that Nanobots and Shield Batteries are 200 each when i don't remember them being that high priced. Has Igiss edited the Story version (singleplayer) so it is different? Same for the Willard assault. Is Story different with the 4.84 mod on? - Eppy - 03-07-2008 Well, they couldn't have the bombers buzz around shelling it for an hour...and you'll notice that with the Discovery version that the bombers are damaged to the point where they SHOULD be dead, but don't, because the mission scripting won't allow it. They didn't take any damage at all in the SP version. I cant even pass the first mission when you got to save beta 4, he die etch time. I cant even kill one enemy that hes dead and all enemy ships are way harder. RUN!!! Now, whenever I encounter capships, I have to find a handy asteroid to hide behind, then repeatedly pop up to fire a torpedo and duck under cover again. HINT: Fly madly in circles and wait for Juni to finish them off. Takes ages, but she's invul.) |
