Sirius seems to be blessed with dozens of "watering holes" these days.. eating, drinking and "schmoozing" establishments scattered across the Sector.
I can be blamed personally for several of them: Sophie's Canaria Cafe, Hope's Haven B&B, and the Perfect Blossom Tea Room & Gin Joint on Roppongi.
It seems that Jay Simon started the trend with the IND's club on Manhattan, which later became the "Ship Inn" on Newark.
Most Factions now seem to have their gathering place... The Xenos' Alamo Bar, LPI's "Sunbucks", .. the Junkers, Rogues, TBH, SCRA, and now Demi McEwan's intriguing "Green Hell" on Islay.
Now, some of these places also serve as defacto "message dumps" at times, or as integral parts of ongoing stories. I've even had potential recruits wander into my establishments to introduce themselves. The "owner" might want to keep his/her establishment separate for that reason..
But, perhaps for the rest, it's time they be given their own special place in the Roleplay Forums. I think it would be interesting and informative for new players, to get the "feel" of the forums, and the factions which populate our little 'verse. And, with the pages and pages of new posts each day, it would make them easier to locate, for those who have an insatiable thirst or appetite.

A big THUMBS UP! I'm currently working on the Tradelane Bar and Grill, located on Pueblo Station. This will be a gathering place for all Lane Security officers, personnel, and allies to share their stories and adventures (in strict RP). I'd be happy to have mine included in your forum as soon as I get it finished. Hopefully not too long (still waiting on other Lane Sec. executives thoughts and input).
Till then, keep the beer cold, the women hot, and the whiskey in reach...

BTW, is the Green Hell really only a bar? I read it otherwise in Marburg's posts. It's like a whole infrastructure that works all by itself.

Although the idea seemed questionable to me at first, I guess it is a good one.
I always had a liking for those "RP Chatrooms".
In fact, elgato might want to include BPA's "Christy's" or fpsdoug his Bretonia Convection Store.
Edit: oh, and the Green Hell is, at least partially, a bar. So I guess it could be included.

I'm all for it, and while we are discussing this, that entire forum needs to be policed more heavily by the moderators. Threads need to be moved into their correct locations and out of the incorrect ones. For instance, the message dump sub-forum is supposed to be for official factions to have ONE dump, but there is at least one faction that has two separate threads in that forum, and there are non-message dump threads there also, and have been for a few weeks.
