Now I play this other mod called "Fleet operations" for the game called "Star Trek Armada 2".
And its quite neat, with fun people and other things but mostly this

Its shows what you can expect, and they're constantly updating it every week or 2 weeks for people to know whats going on. I am personally feeling impatient for .86 and I don't like being kept in the dark.
This should be on the main web-page and it should take take a few hours/days to get what they want to do. then they put funky colours on high, medium and low priority tasks and there; no more people asking questions on if something will be added or not, only suggestions.

There are several dev logs in the Disco Developers Forum

We have a trac system in use by the dev team already. It's not publicized, as we don't publicize items that have not already been entered into the mod. That includes tasks to be completed.

People complain too much about things that haven't been decided upon.
Reasoning for the non-public status of the trac system.

yes but what about the things you want to be published? I mean in the hight priority tasks here only have about 2 dozen entries out of 91, it could be something like that; or even this would do:
a list on all that has already been implemented in 4.86 and a percentage of the mod finished and a (not-so-accurate") release date?

I just really don't like being kept in the dark for something that should have (in my opinion based on multiple posts) been released ages ago. I want to know what I can expect even if its finished.

To be honest, we tend to not do that because of the bazillion nag/whine/bawl requests the devs tend to get when a specific feature has not been put on the list, or is pushed to a later date. As a dev that tends to try to communicate with this community from time to time, I've got first hand experience with the fact that not everyone is respectful here. Or able to accept "no" for that matter.

good point:$but what will they still do it if they know what is already in-game instead of coming into it?
