I suppose introductions are in order. My name is Alan Write, spokes person for the Renegades lead by one known as Rip Rorry. I know your first instinct would be to delete this transmission right now, but I ask of you... Hear me out. For I come bearing news of possible change.

Many of our men have fallen in combat against you, as have many of yours to the Renegades. There is no icing to this cake, both sides hold a place of hate for the other... But tell me what is better? For both sides to continue conflict and for more life to be shed? Or to change the status quo, to save lives, and business...

I am purposing a cease fire, a line drawn in the sand, for neither side to cross over. If such a deal seems beneficial to you, even slightly, let us talk more, and with detail.

We the Renegades are prone to violence, but we are ready to stop unneeded death. Are you?

As for your losses, I won't talk about man-power, but rather your budget, losing several gunboat class vessels are hard blows to one's account. No matter how rich you might be, you do not have the resources of a nation. I'll state a fact, you were the one that began to hunt us down due to bounties, you were the ones that hunted down other people in places where Colonial authorities have the right to hunt down such people.

You, in fact, were the ones that started this.

So, you're looking for an answer? Here's ours. You will stay out of our way, out of any of our friends' way, and my pilots might consider not tearing your ships in half.

Simply put, the actions of your group were driven by money and fancy technology. However, you come here asking for peace. Asking us to forget what has happened.

Why don't you visit Jakarta and ask the mother with the 3 childs which lost her husband what she thinks of your proposal?

Anyway, the Board wishes to know if your relationship with your allies has changed at all. Furthermore, we wish to know if you are willing to take actions which really show that you wish that cease fire and it is not something temporary.

If we agree in a cease fire, we won't really bother where you will operate, staying in Taus included.

Herr Write, the past cannot be forgotten. The atrocities of your group against our peaceful Guild Members exist while IMG all this time acted on self-defence.

The Board has decided that there are 2 possible ways to redeem yourselves.

The first is to show us that you are no longer affiliated with the alien huggers aka Outcasts by bringing us the heads of five 101st pilots. You will be paid 1,000,000 SC for each kill and that is because we are obliged by the Sirius Bounty Rules, not that this will be considered working for IMG.

The second is a monetary compensation to the families of your victims which of course will nor bring their beloved people back, but it will be a relief and will secure their future. If you choose this option, you may send 50,000,000 SC to IMG|Guildfunds.

We hope your group will understand the necessity of proving that you mean that cease fire and it is not mere opportunism.

I understand the delicacy of the situation, and the distrust you hold towards us... The credits have been transfered.

I would like to request precedent for any future encounters, so that both sides are clear...

1) Our men are no longer bountied by the IMG/ICMG.
2) The Renegades will no longer pirate, attack, or unduly harass IMG|, ICMG, or =CR= tagged vessels. If there is ever an encounter by our two groups, both will pass by unmolested.
3) If for some reason a conflict arises, it will be first brought to the attention of the faction leaders and discussed instead of taking permanent hostile actions (eg: Reinstatement of hunting of either sides.)

If you agree upon such details simply say so here, if not, discussion can be continued.
The Colonial Republic can be contacted directly as-well to ensure we are all on the same page. But since they have access to this transmission, it would be possible for them to simply confirm their side of the cease fire here.

Mr Write, I represent the entirety of IMG, not only the Core Guild.

This cease fire is between IMG and your group, not IMG| only. Naturally this also means that you won't touch or harass any non-tagged IMG ship as well.

As for the rest of terms, we find them agreeable.

Now now... Just as you cannot directly control these unaffiliated IMG pilots and how they treat us. I, nor Rorry himself can control what happens to those not influential in this agreement.

I can guarantee this, our Mercs will not specifically hunt down these independent miners... But more than that I cannon put my word to...

I am certain that even the unaffiliated Guild Members won't attack you unless provoked first. But even if they do, you can inform them about the cease fire and if they continue then they are free targets as their actions are not allowed by the Guild Mastery. I am sure this procedure is the best approach and the least harmful as well.

We thought that you are speaking on behalf of the entirety of your group, including ships which are solely involved in piracy. Is there a reason why you cannot guarantee for them?
