Feedback for the third badge:

I don't think that money is the best way to describe a philantropist. Maybe the hand is a better way to show this.

Also, I think its shape makes it looks big for a badge.
Idea: Reducing its size, maybe?

Feedback from IMG for the first badge:

Firstly, it would be nice to see how it looks like without the red cross behind it.

Furthermore, the badge right in the middle, it doesn't look nice. Maybe it's better to color the lighter and darker gold the way the IMG logo is colored with grey and white?

Can you swift the hands of that badge to see them in front? Like it gives something to us, not to that sphere. Furthermore, remove the extra shapes around it and keep it only the circle and then use lots of live colors, like red. Probably that way it will look better.


About the vanguard badge is not what I am looking for. As this is by far the most military-like badge, it should look like one. Can you re-work it again?


About the guider badge... I have run out ideas. It's a bit complicated as it cannot be easily interpreted into a badge. So let's focus to the other 3 for now and hopefully tomorrow I will have more ideas about that one:)

They look like "proper" medals. The star somehow looks unrealistic.

I don't mind working on them, but IMG is a big faction. I think it will be hard to accommodate all tastes. Perhaps you guys should vote on what you like the most? So, let me know what you want to do with the star. I mean, should I even use at all, or come up with a new design?

Sorry, I somehow critizised the Version 1 Star.

The new one (http://img543.imageshack.us/img543/7937/guildhero3.png) actually looks good.

My general feedback is included in the post that Nick does. We had some discussion in the IMG on the designs.

Generally, good job! =) I am sure we will get a great result here.

I understand what you mean, but remember that this is a large scale. In the presentation thread their size will be much smaller.

That means I also need to give Makc a size where the badges should more or less be; I think the 190x190 is a good size, unless I was wrong in my calculations. That is around the size of the last philantropist badge.


My german members insist that the second philantropist badge looks too religious. Probably, they are right. So I guess we will stick with that philantropist design and just ask to keep it's shape as a circle and add a bit more live colors.


About the Vanguard's design take into account Jack's feedback: The "V" in the Vaguard needs to have sharpened edges, not rounded... it looks soft. I'd like to look as if it was embossed into metal, clear lines. And not a "wobbly" surface, please. It looks uneven and as if the V was partially molten

and that: Can you add two swords behind the shield? Also it'd be nice to use IMG's colors, that would be blue and grey. As a last note, maybe making it look like a bit more realistic too would be nice. Maybe I think that because of it's reddish colors, I am not sure though.


About the guider badge, it looks nice, maybe improving it's shape a bit...
