Is the omega 11 mining field disabled? - Niobium - 11-26-2011
I really want to find a good place to mine for cash, but each place I've gone has been disabled because they were good places to mine for cash. Has this one been disabled as well, despite the radiation danger? This is so frustrating, because I spent most of my money on a mining ship with the expectation that it would pay off!

Mate, Tau-23 is great in short. Omega-7 you can mine coppeer. Dublin gold. Best mining places for now

Colbalt is also readily available in O7 and has a close selling point in Munich.

I assume you want places that give good bonuses for Independant miners? Or are you IMG? Trust me man, it all depends on your ID.
Also, if you want something quiet to tide you over, try mining in Cambridge and moving to NB. Trust me, you will never, NEVER encourter a pirate while mining. Running through 0-7 can get tricky, but hey, at least it's not as dangerous as actually mining there.

Another good place to mine is the Stokes Niobium Field in Leeds. Just be careful for it is a war zone. Should be fine if you are neutral to BAF and KNF.
Pirates tend to be around Omega-7, Dublin and Tau-23. You should be safe in other systems.

Omega-11 has biggest drops for Daumann behind the sun. Of course you will be a huge target for Hessians. You can also mine as a Hessian miner there, and you'll get some drops.
