The Fifth Cell - Pancakes - 11-29-2011

[font=Agency fb]
Introduction

So, what is the Fifth Cell? The Fifth Cell is anarchistic group of terrorists that object (with force) any and all government or possible ones. This includes revolutionners, house forces and groups that try to establish their own realm.

That means we wish to create a complete anarchy, no governing body, just small groups of independents that act on the way they wish. If my explanation is not clear enough - Zoner lifestyle is the lifestyle we want to enforce on everyone

The tag is 5C|
IFF is none or Freelancer as a placeholder (so no other IFF will pop up and a droprep will be needed all the time)
ID is pirate ID for the time for the sole reason that Terrorist ID is restricted to SRP.

The Story

Background
The Fifth Cell was a group of few agents and brainwashed operatives that were in a "sleep" mode waiting for the activation by the superior ones back in the head quarters in Bretonia. However, the Cell which was not consisting of large founds suffered a hull breach in their main headquarters, thus the activation was never sent in place, and the operatives went on with their lives. The Fifth Cell, being part of anther 5 identical Cells each operating in a different house and one in the Omicron center, was the last to remain undetected and with it's misfortune destruction it was seemed to be all lost, back in the year 673 A.S

The Phoenix Stage
Amanda Cloud has ventured all across Sirius, been tortured, arrested, brainwashed, de-brainwashed and lost her sanity. In 817 A.S Amanda Cloud has came across the wrecked Headquarters of the Fifth Cell, her small crew that consisted at that time of only 16 members including herself managed to enter it and retrieve valuable tactical data while the wreck itself was deemed unusable. However the data was deemed very useful. Among the tactics of attack on the Bretonian realm, there was advance brainwashing software, face to face warfare training sessions, and most importantly a micro communication device that enables to communicate in a speed faster than light, thus enabling to activate the sleeping agents when the time has come.

The infiltration
Early 818 A.S. The Fifth Cell consist now of 598 members serving in the few ships it managed to acquire while the rest working around the clock to establish a new, independent base for the cell. The Fifth Cell managed to infiltrate Kusari controlled territory, namely Tau-31, and managed to kidnap the patrol Kappa-4 of the Kusari side and Patrol Alpha-15 of the Bretonian side, right about when they were fighting . All of the patrols' personal were brainwashed into a sleep mode. The Kappa-4 patrol has been returned to their locations in escape pods where they wait to be found by the local Kusari forces, while Alpha-15 were put in one ship that have managed to "survive" the rough fighting.

The Fifth Cell assault group, managed to capture a Kishiro research group, that did deep space research tracing odd signals from the Chester system. The team's crew were killed in the process, however they managed to get a hold over the files and one Ahoudori Kusari Explorer. Most important were the files that were recovered, which were deemed to be too heavily encrypted for the current crew. What the cell needed was a hacker, and a good one.

Hacking the hacker
Christopher Greenhold had no idea what was heading his way. It was a regular day for him, on board his ship, hacking into the local trade-lanes to see if any valuable cargo is going to pass along the way. All of a sudden a bang, 3 ships appeared out of nowhere, the next thing he remember is a young woman, with him in a dark room with one lamp.
Amanda kicked him in the guts. "Who are you?", the man screamed "Christopher Greenhold, please, I am not lying, I swear! I told you 16 times already!". Amanda grinned "So, you are a hacker, aye? are you also a good one?". The weaken man have spit some blood and continued: "Yes, I a hacker! Please, don't kill me. I swear I am a hacker!". Amanda slapped him "I asked!" she kicks him "Whether or not you are good!". Christopher coughs "Yes, yes I am good!". Amanda smiled "Good" she walked to the door and looked at one of the guards "Show him the truth". As you walked down the corridor a screams could be heard, she smiled again.

The British Job
The alarm was ringing over the vaults. Amanda and 7 other personal were running down the station to the docks. "Com'on, it's not that far away! All we need is to get it out of here!" Christopher yelled back at her "Alright we are good to go, explosives are set in place!". Bang. The large station lost part of it's hull and the 4 fighters slipped outside. Running away with their stolen information regarding New Tokyo, and blank spots in the local patrols. Amanda addressed Christopher over the communication devices that were implanted in their bodies: "Good job Christopher, they can't even know what we stole, since you erased the whole computer!"

Expanding
Amanda sat down with her tacticians near a table. "Per the data we stole, this area" she points on an area on a map of New Tokyo system "should be empty from all hostile activity. No enemy patrols are crossing there". Christopher nod "Yeah ma'am, it would be the ideal spot to stage operations. Now, to the next issue... Liberty..."

The Hydra slowly, but elegantly, moved in the vast space of the Manchester system. The commander Jack Harkness stared through the large window from the commander's bridge. A call from the communications has arrived "Are you at Holmfirth yet? We need you there to stage the operations on Liberty, we don't have places to attack from aside from there!" Jack sighed "We are nearly there, have some patience darn it!". The Hydra smoothly arrived to it's destination, deploying 30 members to help the local Gaians.

When a monster die
The Hydra moved smoothly, nearly ghost-like, in Liberty's space. Jack Harkness sighed. "This is taking too darn long, they should have been back by now". He went from the commander seat to the ship navigation modules "Anna, assume control over the ship I am going on a fighter to check what is up with them, that small reckon task should have been over by now"

Jack left the ship. He engaged cruise engines and moved toward Rochester base, he knew that Liberty was one of the most hostile territories, and did not stall. He quickly found the 2 scouts. "Darn it, why your communication is not working and you are stalling for so long in here?" He received no reply, when he approached he saw that the pair of the eagles' front were torn and the pilots were nowhere to be found. Jack quickly turned back to The Hydra when he arrived to a distance of 12 clicks, he only saw the leftovers of it. The Hydra outer hull was brutally shred to pieces and the ship itself was a flying wreck. Jack saluted "Farewell, you magnificent monster".

He wore a spacesuit and salvaged the communication center module, and searched for survivors. He found only 6 of them and took them to his ship, from which they will be brought home. Jack slowly walked to the ship's engine core chamber, looking on the torn ship on the way. He approached the console and typed in "/selfdestruct 0000" he quickly left the ship and joined the surviving crew. It was a sad day for the Fifth Cell.

Operation: Dragon Flames
20 men and 6 women were walking down a corridor silently. They were all geared with mines, traps, grenades, variety of side-arms and body armors. One of them gave a sign with her hand and all of them put gas masks on. They move swiftly to the docking bays, the target - "The Wisdom" Hogosha's Big Dragon that is used in smuggling routes. It is inside the big rock where Barrier Station in coronado resides. One of the women stops, apparently she is leading the whole group as they stop behind her, still in their formation.

The man close to her asks "What now Rose?" she marks him to keep it silent as she throws a cluster of smoke grenades inside Hangar 19. They all enter as the residents inside suffocate from the poisonous gas. They quickly take stations to hack into the ship, while the rest guarding the entrance. The smoke scatters and the leading woman, Rose McMilan steps near the ship's door, she place small device and run back to the others "4..3...2...1 BANG" the door slams open and 5 of them enter it. Rose is looking on the passed-out guards and apparent a deal that was cut in the middle. She takes her large assault rifle and shoot all the guards, one bullet to the head - better save the ammo.

More Hogosha guards start to flood in as the alarm of the ship went on. The large squad have no problem to take them down, using strategical positioning, larger numbers to their advantage. The ship's engines started, it was designed to be able to fight off enemies, but also clearly as a small mobile head quarters. "Alright start pulling back into our new prize people" as they pulled back one of them was shoot, Rose went out with her weapon giving suppressing fire on the entrance "Someone get him, my CG-1 will need to get a plasma refill within few more shots!" 4 guys hurry up to carry him, they take him back to the ship while the rest take in any Hogosha that was left alive.

The ship arrived at New London. It had quite a rough travel, with 13 captives and one injured marine. The ship stopped in the scrap field. Amanda was walking through in the ship straight to Rose McMilan, who was in the hot-tub, the ship had more than just a few luxuries. Amanda put off her uniforms and joined her "Good job darling" she strokes Rose's cheek. "Now lets get out of this hot-tub, and head to the main hall ".

Amanda stands infront of the Marines who took over the Big Dragon "Good job everyone, you all deserve more than a pat on the shoulder, but for you Guardian Rose McMilan, I have a pleasant surprise". She takes out a small tag, shaped like a rose, with red and gold coloring "This is our badge of bravery and leadership, for those who didn't get out of the trouble, but managed to shriek it to minimum before it would turn into a problem" She walks and put the badge on Rose's uniform, gets close to her ear and whispers "You more than just earned that, I want you in the briefing room in an hour".

Special Ships

The Flying Dutchman - One of the two Claymore gunships that cell have originally obtained. The gunship is older than it's counterpart The Siren, and have served the Cell in it's very early days. It is also rumored to be the mobile command center of the Fifth Cell.

The Siren - A few weeks after getting The Flying Dutchman, the Cell has managed to get a grip over anther Claymore Gunship. This one, is used to give cover in the outer reaches, and has been sighted attacking civilian transports on many occasions.

The Hydra - An Ahouduri Kusari Explorer that was captured. It used to contain valuable data of Kishiro agents, however after the data was used the ship has been modified to heavy combat roles. It is also rumored to be the communication center of the Fifth Cell, utilizing it's advance arrays to serve the goal of receiving all of the signals from the various cell members. The Hydra was decommissioned in late 818 A.S with it's surprising destruction.

I like it already:)

The Fifth Cell - Tenacity - 11-30-2011

Sounds like another shot at a "we hate everyone so we can shoot everyone as we please" faction to me.

The Fifth Cell - themikeruler - 11-30-2011

seems it has potential, just wondering where i can find more information so i can get a feel of the roleplay, and what kind of tech 5C uses.

The Fifth Cell - Kaghuros - 11-30-2011

Smells like ghosts... Or, shall we say, Phantoms?

We don't shoot everyone, just most of the people around. I don't have problem with it, not to mention the fact I don't mind them hunting us back.

Civilian / Approved Gaian tech for now. As for the roleplay part, it's yet to be fully posted here, but as I said everything should be in-place until the end of this week. If you'll have more questions then, you are welcome to post them. For now, I best suggest you wait, most of the questions will be answered.

I don't have any interest in Phantom technology or even bases. It would be far more logical for the Fifth Cell to have it's bases inside house space where it mainly operates.

The Fifth Cell - jammi - 11-30-2011

I'm not sure I've understood the premise correctly:
The original group consisted of 4 cells, who inexplicably want to destroy everything in ordered space.

The original cells are all wiped out, 150 years ago.

Your character discovers wreckage of one of their old HQs.

She inexplicably reforms a 5th Cell, and activates the sleeper agents (who are now over 150 years old?).

One year later, the group suddenly has over 500 members(?).
1. Attack Bretonia
2. Target ensigns
3. ????
4. PROFIT!
My reaction so far:

The Fifth Cell - Pancakes - 11-30-2011

The sleeping agents are long dead. It doesn't reactivates anything. It consist mostly of former Gaians, and brainwashed captives, that were deemed enough stable to serve among the group. Moreover, getting 598 members to a cause that many of which support something similar is not hard. With the right propaganda even nowdays gathering that number can last just a few weeks.

Jammi, read over again, you seem to misunderstand lot of things. The only thing that connects the current cell to the former one is the name and several tactics and one special device. Said tactics and device were simply salvaged. EDIT: Also similar goals, though the current Fifth Cell has a bit different diplomacy.

EDIT: Had a small mistake on the Diplomacy chart, it should be fixed now.

EDIT2: I fixed the 4 original cells to 5, was a typo.

EDIT3 (Lots of them (sun)): We don't target just Bretonia, so stop the "Q_Q wai u kill me?".

The Fifth Cell - Pancakes - 12-02-2011

Main story nearly finalized, rep-chart is nearly complete

The Fifth Cell - Marburg - 12-04-2011

May I recommend a broadening of the baseline faction definition? I'm still fuzzy about how an anarchistic group of terrorists that object (with force) to any and all government or possible ones, including revolutionaries, house forces and groups that try to establish their own realm, could count the gaians as allies when they are revolutionaries that have established their own realm & with that, directly clash with the stated primary goal of your group.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of the terrorism angle & It's simply just a criticism. I look forward to watching it's evolution
