Omega-58 Wreck - Necromancer11 - 11-30-2011
I believe the wreck on Omega-58 that drops the twilight gun is bugged. I've visited it numerous times after server restarts, it had 100% health, and it didn't drop anything when I shot it. I spoke to another guy on the server just a few hours ago, and he said it was bugged, which made a lot of sense to me considering how much trouble it gave me.

There was someone faster then you. Look at the detailed view and check if the wreck has any flashing parts, if thats the case someone already got the weapon.

Well, I eventually got the twilight, but there seems to be something a little strange going on with wrecks in general. I've been to different wrecks multiple times after server restarts, and sometimes, they don't drop anything. I've even been in a situation where there were three of us racing to the same wreck, so it was obvious that no one had gotten to it already, and when one of the other guys shot it, nothing was dropped. Could someone explain this?

If you shoot a wreck to 0 hull, it will replenish its hull after a while but not the weapon...

It was Omega-58, but it's happened elsewhere as well.

I'm aware of that. I've seen it happen before. That's definitely not what happened though. I was definitely the first one there, and even if I wasn't, there would not have been enough time for someone to loot the wreck and disappear and for the wreck to replenish its hull since I've been logging onto characters right next to wrecks immediately after server restarts.

Did you got this weapon in the past with the same ship?
If so, it's clear. You can only get each Code ONCE from each wreck with each charakter. For getting more than one, you have to use another char.
