You're using a i945 chipset's internal GPU? (Although GPU is an overstatement in that regard...)
That's probably why. Those chips aren't meant to handle 3D gaming. That said, this glitch is... odd. Suggests an issue with the video driver. Have you tried scaling back the resolution, and setting color depth to 16 bit?

Get the windows XP drivers and install them. I just did the same thing before coming disco. It works.:)

I actually found the solution on these forums. The text glitches, and some random crashing on docking, and when switching between bar and vendors. Those were my problems.

Get the windows XP drivers from the intel website, specifically the intel website, and install them. That's all I did. I didn't even bother removing the win7 drivers. Fixed my problem.
