Konnichiwa, honorable High Command of the Kusari Naval Forces.
As the commander of the Yonaguni it is my duty to report a most disturbing incident which occurred recently
in our great empire's system of Honshu.

The Yonaguni, a destroyer class vessel, was patroling between Honshu and New Tokyo as we encountered
the Independent Miner's Guild convoy coming out of the lanes to the Honshu gate in New Tokyo. They
suspected to be attracting pirates to the ore they were carrying and asked for some protection through
Honshu. As we were patroling around there anyway, we decided it would be a good thing to show them that
we care for the safety of travelers in our space. We then followed them into Honshu where several Hogosha
Kusari Explorer were awaiting the convoy. They attempted piracy and damaged the trade lanes to hinder
the convoy from proceeding (#further evidence: 1, 2). Our presence there was completly ignored and as
the miners refused to pay the gunboats soon opened fire upon one of them. The ship was not able to
withstand the power of three gunboats attacking it and after a short time exploded. Besides some escorts
the rest of the convoy managed to escape luckily and after the destruction of that ship, they turned on our
destroyer (#evidence: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7). It was not able to withstand against the concentrated fire of three
Kusari explorers and an Outcast falcata, who joined the Hogosha forces during the fight (#evidence: 1, 2, 3).
An alliance of one of our most hated enemies, the poisoners of Sirius, and people who claimed to be citizens
of our empire - such an honorless action...

The Yonaguni was heavily damaged and disabled in the fight, eight crew members were killed and
twentynine were injured, some of them seriously. These honorable men will be remembered as victims of a
traitorous attack from forces who roam around our space, claiming to be lawful citizens of the great
Kusarian empire. But they are a nothing more than a disgrace for all we stand for, they hurt our economy
and now even our own forces, which we need in the many battles that took place lately. But I leave it to you
to judge their behaviour as I trust in your ruling. Please, honorable High Command, keep in mind those we
lost to this betrayal.


Also, a minor thing we want to be noticed: during the fight an Artisan Farmers Alliance bomber extorted a
transport near the New Tokyo jump gate.

Officer Kenji Akano, I am sorry that you and your crew had to suffer at the hands of these disgusting hogosha. We thank you for your bravery and your efforts to protect the innocent.
We have advised station masters and KSP that these criminals are to be given no port or shelter. Subaru, Yuki, and Shizuka are now listed as criminals of the state.
