If i have a military Id does that mean if i have a kusari destroyer with a military id i can venture to other spaces besides kusari?

There was considerable discussion of that topic in the past...*goes to search for it*

you cant have a destroyer/cruiser/battleship with military ID.

Id - Heartless - 03-17-2008

well I guess it would be appropiate to ask what your Tag is.
Secondly, you CAN go anywere you want, wether it's in RP and the smartest thing for you to do is another question. I would say keep it in Kusari, Tau's and surrounding border systems, but I'm not sure.
Thing is, how would a house military player faction respond to a Kusari Destroyer in their space?

think he meant generic military ID.
theorically, they can go anywhere they want. My question on that Id always was, what is that ID really...

The same way they've dealt with them before, treat it as the iD of the house the ship comes from. A generic miltary ID holder should expect to be bossed around by the official player faction for that house, and expect to be treated like a member of that miltary by any other house, so don't buy a Liberty Navy ship and expect to be welcomed in Rheinland and vice versa, likewise the same for Kusari/Bretonian vessels.

The thread where this ID was questioned.

May advice on this matter is: Don't go playing "police" everywhere you feel like it. Sure, you'll be inside the rules for your ID, but there are two very delicate issues you should consider.

1. I don't know of any official law enforcement faction that trustskes that ID. You chose a military vessel from one House, don't expect to be treated well at any other House. Something about other Houses meddling in sovereign space of another House. If the ID is generic, they'll look at your ship and tag, at any other they see fit.

2. What kind of RP can a "generic military" present. Who do you work for really? There's no NPC organization, apart from the BHG that promotes "law enforcing" (I really don't like going about this) in a broad area. As it was discussed back at that thread, this ID is somewhat problematic and should be used with due care and only if it's the only option to fit a more intricate RP.

My suggestion is: Choose a House Military ID (even that one may be questioned depending where you go).

Well i was asking because I saw that the military COULD use Cruisers..ecc.. but I just needed to get a military tag which i don't think is possible because like someone mentioned there is just no military faction exept .rheinland but its still not the same. I just like the kusari destroyer and didn't want to be limited on where i can go but right now its not looking like i can. Thank you for the posts everyone.

Problem is, even though this is very limiting, you have to consider if a military force would let go of one ship of their arsenal to someone not related to them.

Also, you can always explore Sirius through a different character. Now, if you want to act throughout Sirius with a Kusari cruiser, then you might have those problems I've pointed out.

Yea, thanks for the info.
