A whole bunch of mod questions - Sanae - 12-18-2011 I played Freelancer way back when, and recently dusted it off and decided to try again. But after playing vanilla for a while, I kinda got bored of the story and the way everything is basically the same the whole way through (pirate raids can only stay so exciting). So I got some mods, including discovery. However, Disco is more of a multiplayer mod, and I want to stay with SP for now. So, I'd like advice on the following: -Battleship Encounter Mod: Where do I encounter them? I found a patrol of Liberty/occasionally Rheinland battleships pass through the New York system, but no battleships in other systems. I wish the encounters were more widespread, since battleships are boring if there aren't enemies attacking them occasionally (Rogues don't count). -Colonial Wars 2.11: I found this on LR, and it looks amazing. But I don't want to play it with the storyline, so I launched it with OpenSP. Thus, whenever I lift off from Manhattan, the game crashes. I don't know how to fix this, and I'm not sure if OpenSP causes it (though mod manager didn't say there were any problems between the two). A whole bunch of mod questions - KAWISH-ALI - 12-18-2011 You Said the words i wanted to say , that Disco needs widespread Battleship encounters according to Storyline , and For 2nd Q , dont know how to fix that crash , try using Right mod manager for mod activation and dont forget to delete save files for each mod activation cuz every mod has its own settings in save folder in my documents ,that often causes crashes if not deleted. good Luck:) |
