Ahh I think what you heard about is that Bioware (now owned by EA) is set to make an MMO and is also work on a new Knights of the Old Republic game and a lot of people speculated that the new KOTR might be an MMO which Bio has said it is not.
I use to play SWG so I asked some friends and their is nothing out their on EA owning the rights to SWG now, Sony is still developing content way into 2009 according to them
