Skyrim Question - stewcool - 12-26-2011 Okay I have a Skyforge Steel Greatsword, because we all know the bigger the sword the better the carnage. It's down to zero on its little durability bar and I tried to sharpen it, maybe thats not what Im suppose to do but Im just guessing. Anyways I now have over 60 steel ingots and for some reason didnt feel the need to google the fact I only needed one. But everytime I try to sharpen it it's still greyed out. Any ideas why? Also does it matter that its enchanted with fire damage? Skyrim Question - Rodent - 12-26-2011 Swords in skyrim don't wear out. Your enchantment wore out, though. Use a soul gem to recharge it. Skyrim Question - stewcool - 12-26-2011 *FACEPALM* I....I feel like such and idiot....I never thought of that. Well thanks for that.... Second question is now....What does have durability? If anything. Skyrim Question - JIVA - 12-26-2011 nothing breaks - the stone is meant to increase the quality of the weapon ( like 20 base damage.... use the stone with a high blacksmithing skill and it becomes 40 damage and the suffix ( legendary ) ) same thing you do with the workbench ( just for armors ) many weapons are fine without charges anyway. - but a hint is to give a good weapon to one of your companions ( good in terms of a good proc / effect ) cause companions do NOT use up charges ( also an option to give them a nice sword that has only one charge left ) Skyrim Question - stewcool - 12-26-2011 Yeah I gave the entire Companion clan people good weapons with enchants...Bad idea now cause im out of money. Skyrim Question - Echo 7-7 - 12-26-2011 Note: the Arcane Smithing perk is required to be able to improve enchanted weaponry and armour. Skyrim Question - stewcool - 12-26-2011 ....That answers the greyed out bit....Thanks for that, good thing I "stole" a replacement sword from the skyforge guy. By stole I ment I got under the town and took it from his chest just for fun. The only cheat I know for the xbox >.< Skyrim Question - JIVA - 12-26-2011 while we re at it - does anyone has a trick how to train pickpocket? even stealing a carrot gets me killed ( and i don t quite wanne use a trainer ) Skyrim Question - Rodent - 12-26-2011 quite easy actually. well, you should start by stealing only those items with over 85% steal rate. try finding some equipment that buffs your pickpocket skill, some rings or such. As you keep stealing it keeps levelling up. and if you steal a low level item and get caught, submit to the guard and pay off bounty. shouldn't be more than a few gold if you've been stealing peanuts. Skyrim Question - stewcool - 12-26-2011 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C_w1AkNRw64 Probably the best way yet. Saving each time though. Its kinda tedious but it works for Xbox. Sorta.... the guard doesnt see you. I Have high sneak so he could be almost next to me sometimes and not notice. EDIT: Or do what Rodent said haha |
