I was just thinking of asking you if I could make a character with the same name as yours(in order to be part of convoy 313), with low level freighter(like Rhino), but with I(i) or l(L) instead of "|".:P
A whole faction, however.. it would be a little too much, unfortunately. I'm in 4 factions already.:(

Background
Synth Foods Incorporated is the Liberty firm responsible for the revolutionary Food product Synth Paste and a highly successful line of Food-producing biodomes. Synth Paste became overnight success in Liberty and Bretonia and completely dominates their Food markets. Recently Synth Foods have bought farming license on Stuttgart and this fertile planet has started to produce Synth Paste in huge amounts, supplying both Rheinland and Kusari citizens. However, security costs in Rheinland are very high and it is hard to dominate Rheinlands stores. Synth Foods, Inc have also recently moved to Kusari and forced out many of local farmers out of business, however Synth products are gaining popularity among the young of Kusari and it is expected for Synth Foods to dominate the area in the future.
Other than that, ROLEPLAY is the key to good time. Fighting skills are optional and a little bit of intelligence is needed as well. All players are encouraged to role play in game and be active, post in Discovery forums. You must have a forum account to do that as well. It just so happened that this is a RP server All in all, its not even that aww and evil thing to do. Just imagine that youre the pilot in the screen and that everything is actually happening for real. I know apes can do it. It all ends well in the longer run.

Trading policy
1.Contraband. Transporting contraband, smuggling or possessing illegal material is strictly forbidden within Synth Foods, Inc. If such material is found employee will be transferred to local authorities immediately. If the guilt is proved, employee will be expelled out of Synth Foods, Inc. Use of legal amounts of Synthetical Marijuana is not permitted during and 2 hours before your shift.
2.Escorting. Hiring escorts is essential for reliable flow of commerce. The pay for escorting services varies from 300k cr. to 1kk cr. And depends on length and risk of the journey, but exact sum remains up to employee. VIPs are to be delivered under heavy guard and with protection of local law keeping forces, if possible.
3.Pirate attacks. Convoy leader himself decides what to do in case of pirates attack. He can choose to defend the Convoy, which is best option if under heavy protection, obey the pirate if outclassed or, in critical situation, attempt to escape. All pirate raids are to be reported to high ups. Depending on situation a bounty will be placed on bandits head.
4.Convoy forming. When possible form a convoy from Friendly or Polite alignment. These may be other Synth Foods vessels or escorting craft, hired escorts, local law keeping forces or various corporate traders.

I would include some other civilian LFs .. from Arrow (which is probably not a good escort... only in groups of two)... to Tigershark (which is a great escort). Griffin is sadly not so good.

To whom it may concern.
The intent of this letter is to express my interest in hiring on as a transport pilot for Synth Foods, Inc.
I have flown a Transport as an independent trader for the last three months. My primary employer has been a private luxury goods dealer on Planet Manhattan for whom I often make runs to Planet New Tokyo. Frequently I would carry Engine Components between New Tokyo and New York for my return trips.
I do have some experience running Passengers from Planet Manhattan to Planet New Berlin and various trade goods back to the New York system.
Most recently, and perhaps most importantly, I was employed to carry Luxury Food Products from Planet New London to Planet Manhattan. As a result of this I am quite familiar with cargo pod sterilization techniques used for carrying human consumables.
Also as a citizen of Liberty I am familiar with the Synth Foods product line as a consumer.
My education and previous employment:
I am a graduate of West Point Academy (Class of 812) and I served as an agent in the Liberty Security Force (Stationed on Planet Los Angles -Service ID 10679JCC) for 2 years.
Since my discharge from LSF I have flown various civilian class ships as a freelance pilot. Those ships include Rhino, Starblazer, Hawk, Falcon, and Eagle. I have some combat experience in each of those and would be willing to hire on as an escort for company convoys in my privately owned Eagle. I currently own both a Transport and an Eagle which I keep docked in Liberty.

OOC background: My play time is typically between the hours of 8 and 10 PM (Pacific Time zone) and I play anywhere from 2 to 5 nights a week on Discovery. Times on weekends vary greatly. RL wife and kids you understand.
I am a recent transplant from another server whose population has disappeared. I was one of the few who preferred role play to PvP. I was an active member of that community for 2.5 years and served as both a clan leader and an Admin during that time.
Though I have some small amount of RP experience I have not yet joined any of the existing factions on Discovery and am still learning more about RP with each online interaction.
