Perhaps there have been threads about this, perhaps not, but I feel that this is merited. Before I begin, I would like to give a shout out to the admins and devs for fantastic work with the new mod. I like it, I really do.
That said, I am concerned with the extreme lack of both visual and tactical variety in terms of transport armament. I am aware that civilian ships tend to use similar technologies inRP, but in visual terms the existing transport turrets look horrible for the most part, and have horrible FX for their shots.
My suggestion is thus - standardize the look of transport turrets turrets (mainly the nice, single barrel turrets used on NPC transports) but diffrentiate via shot type. In turn, make the shot animations more distinctive in terms of house - the house specific small transport turrets are great, why not extend that policy towards all transport turrets?

I can only get behind this and support the endeavour whole-heartedly. The developers have now given every house a battle transport, then gimped it with a tiny pool of generic weaponry.
When all other brands of ship weaponry are being diversified, I feel it's only fair that transports should receive some of the love too.

You are not supposed to enjoy flying a transport beyond the point of paying your local dev's pirate char.
