While it's obvilious such laws already existed long ago, I'm quite sure right now it's good idea to add them to House laws - cloaks to nomad stuff, space construction...well, to separate paragraph, perhaps?

I disagree with just bland criminalisation - besides I'm sure the militaries will be using it.

I think it should be RPd appropriately - with the liberal houses allowing it, the middle ones requiring registration, and the strictest ones restricting it to a select few/charging license fees.

If you're talking about cloaks, remember this is nomad technology, which's harmful and may be used for hiding various illegal activities, including contraband smuggling, espionage. I doubt you'd allow that to exist.

As player, remember you won't hunt down some rare, but smart traders with cloaks?... (well, that's not big issue, since fuel's going to cost well)

Well it all depends on how cloaks are rpd, I'm assuming they are gonna be sold on human bases, as human tech, I believe they even had them in starlancer, so they are hardly unique to the nomads.

They're not unique to nomads, I'm sure BHG Core and the Order use them frequently.

This is great new RP for the houses I hope they dont abuse it =P

It'd be fantastic if we could get the bases fixed so we could buy those danged modules...

This is an option, but we've got to see if it gets used in such a way. For Liberty, this means something similar to how the pirate transport, pirate train and behemoth were used in the past. If it becomes a problem, the law will change. Most law has the capacity to be very fluid.

Im looking fowards to finding a reliable account of how cloaking works, before a decision gets made.

As for space construction, you bet. Modern countries are riddled with planning laws, and Liberty will be no different. Again, as soon as we can get a reliable account of how it works in practice.

That said, I'll probably do a quick review of UK planning law to see what similarities and lessons can be learned from it, though space and real life are very different.
