Goofy battleship bloopers - Snake_Eyes - 03-08-2006
Bought my first Battleship today and the first thing i do is to pull this off: docked with a trade lane and the thing goes right past the ring and turns around and all of a sudden it got that boost, sideways, straight through the whole lane and at the end of it i crashed with 2 Liberty Rouges, leaving only the loot. Talk about smashing experience ;)
Anyone else got these kind of crazy effects? It was darn fun to watch, and darn i`m proud of my self to pay the LRs back for the troubles they gave me when i first started playing FL.

That didnt happen to me but whenh I got my cruiser a long long time ago.... (just hours before Denier blew the crap out of it) I shot a train right as it entered the tradelane. It still had a health bar but it was empty while it flew away in the tradelane. So I docked the tradelane to go find it. As I am flying I see debris spread out about 20K along the tradelane as well as about 200 of the cargo it was carrying... I guess I killed it. Its funny to see debris flying through a trade lane.

Hehe, not every day you actually haveto CHASE the cargo to get it! I think i`ll try to do that thing again and get a screenshot of it. another thing thats quite weird is that if you have a larger BS or something you cant dock with a planet but you CAN dock with a small station like a battleship, i mean where is it most likely able to fit?

Yeah, that debris thing happened to my friend a long time ago. He was being attacked in the next system, and I told him to take the hypergate to the system I was in. After about 5 seconds, the hypergate opened up and shot pieces of his ship out. X'D

On a mission in Omicron Delta involving several Dreadnaughts......Got down to the
last one, but on a torpedo run, discovered the size of the blast radius of a Nova!
Goodness me... Who stole all my weapons! So incensed by my stupidity I turned,
rammed the ship, and was amazed to see a bit of the health bar drop. So I nutted
it to death. Mission complete! Though the pay came nowhere near paying for a
complete loadout replacement!!!!
Won't be doing that again, unless we are going to have a battleship head butting
competition in the future!

If I had to rebuy all my weapons when that happened, I would never ever touch the Nova, and would still have to trade an incredible amount.... o.O
