This thread is for anyone interested in joining the Ronin player faction.

Please post a character bio including what part of Kusari your character is from and how the character ended up in Bretonia after the Gallic advance.

My father, Ketsukei Yammaha got rich by working hard with the Hogosha. I was raised in wealth on New Tokyo, for the purpose of repaying the favor my family received from the Kusari Empire, the Black Dragons, and... the Emperor - as they shaped these magnificent spaces into the form we knew it. And we fought to sustain it.

I trained hard to be able to do for the betterment of people. I became a Black Dragon myself. Can't say it's always an elevating job, but I knew my actions are overally beneficial. I might have broken the letter of the law, but never the spirit of it. I also always did abide to the code of Honor. And Honor it is that makes me relay my comms towards Newcastle today.

The coup that happened in our beloved Kusari - while your Majesty being abroad, aiding the people - is beyond disgust. The coward collaborators that adapted to the new situation so fast are making me puke whenever I think about them. My father would turn in his grave if he knew that the Hogosha also... adapted. I can't endure more days under their command.

In my family's eyes, your person was a central axis, around Space resolves so that our people prosper. I was raised in this faith, and as so, directing my words towards you is a taboo that's hard for me to break. But I have no other choice for two reasons. The first is Honor, what binds me to offer my life and sword to aid you in whatever cause you work for in such perilous times. The second is the fact that this transmission goes trough Society systems, what means when they find the logs, I'll only be a common hunted criminal without the protective umbrella of the Dragons.

So I'm about to depart. I'm practiced in flying without being seen. If I managed to do it with various transports, passing the front - no matter how dire it is - will mean no problem on a fighter. I can only hope that your Majesty sees past my sins, deems me worthy and grants me safe winds on my journey to join your army in those filthy looking spaces.

My father was an officer, the commander of the battleship Fatatsuno, he has earned many awards and money for their hard work in this difficult work. In times of war, with Bretonia, but when a new threat- Gallia, he died on his way home in New Tokyo, after a long battle. He taught me to be a good person and respect the traditions of Kusari, never not retreat and be reasonable. But during a training bout I hurt his hand and has since become a little worse to manage their chimera, but very well managed to cruiser and new ship battlecruiser. I understand that I'm not very good I can navigate, but I'll try at it. I think that I can join your army and take his place in it.
In connection with the new threat, I moved to Leeds in the system and began to fight against the Gallia, now it is a major threat for the home Kusari and Bretonia. In Leeds, I met the armed forces of Breton and began to help them in repelling enemy attacks.

Ohayou gozaimasu emperor Kogen-sama. I am Byakuya Kuchiki, a known and respected, but forgotten, former Daisa of the KNF. I am a descendant of the Kuchiki family, one of the four big families from Planet Junyo. Even though I'm somewhat of a royalty i wasn't treated like one, nor did i expected special treatment. Ever since i was a little boy i received harsh treatment and went through alot of tough training just so that i won't grow up to be a weakling. It was my grandfathers will that made me what i am today. Even though i grew up without my father, my grandfather was as good as a father could be. I inherited his toughness and perseverence, and the love for the empire.

As i said before, i am a former KNF soldier, wich dedicated his life to protecting our beloved home; and i did so with all my heart. I began as everyone else as a low ranked frontline soldier, a man of action that never backed down when it was time to fight. Many dragons, gc's and bretonians fell at my gunpoint, few of them survived, and only because of my will. I never dissobeid orders, and never left my comrades behind; fought till the last second.
As i steped up the rank, even though missions got harder and harder i continued to thrive and bested my foes at any step. In my last mission i was sent in a covered expedition to the gallic systems, to bring information about the biggest threat that we would have to encounter. Even though the succes rate was low my squad managed to make it through and we returned alive, just to find that the our beloved good leaders were overthrown by some corrupted men of Kusari, men wich brought down you're sovereignity. We were banished from the KNF and forced to leave Kusari space, because we didn't agreed with the changes that have occured in the leadership. Before we had a chance to warn any loyal men your royal guard we woke up with dozens of KNF fighters on our back, and we had no choice but to flee. I returned to the frontline in Leeds, my Destroyer was stationed at stokes, God had that it was still there and ready to go at my command. We took the Hakuteiken and dissapeared, only to reappear when the situation was dire on the bretonia frontline, never to return to Kusari space. Now with the Gallice invasion we have but one mission, to stop their advance and to overthrow the corruption that has ensnared our empire.


Now it seems that the situation has changed, and i make an appeal to your Highness and ask to return to serve the Real Kusari Empire, our true emperor, once more.

Long live Kusari, long live the Emperor.

Konnichiwa,

I was one of the fighter pilots for the invasion of Leeds before the invasion of... I don't even know who they really are... I have never seen such like that in my life. All I can tell from the scrambled messages I was able to intercept while I was in hiding in the Stokes asteriod field is that they hail from a place called Gallia.

After their assault I was left with barely functioning drives, no weapons systems, and a dead comms system. With nothing else to do I hid in the asteroid field until I was able to get enough energy to the comms system to send this message. While I was hidden I heard of the coup back home and a group of former KNF members forming the Ronnin that continue to follow the true emperor. I would like to join you.

Unfortunately, I have been unable to repair my drives and humbly request some assistance. I am uploading my coordinates and hope you let me join your ranks or at the very least, give me a helping hand.

I no longer want to sleep or to remember the past long ago "engraved" in my heart and thoughts...

Frustrated and tired as usual, I went to the Bar which is located in Nagasaki Battleship.
I sat at the bar and then... approached a Ronin pilot named Michishige Shigehito who recognized me and he said:
"Jiro... glad to see ya alive, you're with us and with us as before" (Shigehito gave to Jiro some papers and he said)
"I hope you'll be true and honorable pilot once again" (Jiro looked at the papers and he decided...it's his duty)

I was born at Matsuo Base in Hiroshima, where my mother( Ayame Takeo-Fujiwara) and father raised me to become an honorable soldier.
My father (Hachiro Fujiwara) - he worked as a scientist in a Laboratory for classified military projects.
He died in his 60. of suspected chemical explosions. I have been terrible naughty boy until my 15.
I grew up with the Kusari Naval Forces pilots, and to think that was my only toy's weapons and broken thrusters (...difficult childhood....)
After, my mother and I have moved to Honshu on the Kansai Research Center, where my mother got a job as a laborer on developing shielding and scanning technology that are specifically designed to operate within the treacherous gas Nebulas common throughout Kusari.
In my 18. I went to the specialization for the KNF pilot. When I turned 22. I became a true naval force pilot and specializes myself flying Chimaera, maneuvering and orientation in space...
At present I got the Black Dragon ship from my father's good friend. (which I kept and maintained in one of the millitary hangar)
In my 25. I got a holiday a couple of months and I married a beautiful Hogosha girl named (Aimi) and I got one wonderful child, daughter (Aiko)
While war is raging between Kusari and Bretonia, I was in Leeds with my true samurais to fight and defend the honor of Emperor and all Kusari.
One remarkably peaceful day I received information that my mother was killed by the Blood Dragon attacks at Kansai R.C.
Since then I was sad and enraged not to explain, my companions are comforted me and told me that I couldn't help them
(Besides my mother,also there were killed another two Kishiro scientists) really, really sad and bad news.
It took me for a while to calm down and to tell my wife not to worry and that I will return to them soon.

After a year, my wife and our lovely daughter went in innocent visit to relatively peaceful Kusari.
Near Kyushu system their tourist ship *out of nowhere* was attacked by the Queen Carina gaijins - "rats"...dammit!
I don't know how to describe to you that situation what I felt, I hear whether my family survived as other tourists. I got a letter that I did not dare to open in fear of the worst. I took a bottle of cognac, to read letter. (inly I figured it was the worst)
I have read the letter ... I couldn't believe my eyes what's happened to me, my wife and child were killed and all the passengers.
This pain doesn't want to give you describe here, I'll just tell you that I lost something most dearest.
I lost everything.
No one dared to approach me, no one dared to call me, no one had asked me anything, I was terribly disappointed in our army in Kusari,
I felt very bad.
I went to Kusari, I no longer way back to the army. Even I received condolences from Emperor, I was very disappointed, I wasn't there when they was need me. I have paid to alcohol and gambling, I lived in my ship, although I didn't have will to live.
One day I went to private Hogosha casino which is owned by a Hogosha pilot known as Djenka.
Much I was drinking and gambled way without thinking too, At one time I stayed in a room with several other 7-8 gamblers
who had similar look as me, same facial expression, I saw that there's something wrong, then appeared Djenka and he said they were waiting for me. (I thought that they will kill me because of my gambling debt or something similar...but not)
He said: "and our families were killed in the same ship where your wife and kid"
He also said that they were preparing for a major revenge in Bretonia and if I wanted to join them.
(they are all Hogosha people like my wife and they lost their families on the same bloody way)
*What I had to lose, I had a desire to cleanse all the Bretonian population once and for all*
The time was for my Black Dragon which I kept, it turns out that now I know why, but I never imagine...that I will fly with that ship in the worst purposes.
We gathered and we were given a some Sirius map that I had and we went in Bretonia, have distanced ourselves precisely on Nagasaki Battleship and Stokes Mining Station. At Nagasaki Battles. many KNF pilots recognized me. Many IKN pilots have helped us in Leeds system
as KNF pilots as well. Many of them are my friends from millitar academy. We are most of all operated in Dublin, for which we had stolen
map, we are killed many Bretonians there becouse of our pain and war. Most of the story you already know from your loyal pilots.
Emperor was informed that we were fighting there, mostly because of our lost families and in his great name.
We have always respected Emperor decisions, but we were disappointed and very angry, and sometimes blind to the various possibilities.
(I'm human after all)
...Took me only pain and longing that my family be avenged...about that I do not want to give you longer, most of the stories you know as I said already.

Those were times of war!

Many have lost their families and on one side and on the other side. The war is over, I have not found my inner peace anyway, still the pain ...deep in me.
Some of them are back in Kusari before the Gallic invaded Bretonia. Many of them may want to become farmers, perhaps to build new home there,some were still here as I as well. I got a room at the Nagasaki Battleship, but then we get the important information that Gallia was attacked Bretonia and we have no exit.
I and the other pilots and soldiers have remained stuck in Bretonia,I saw that my Emperor is here with us, who always encourages us and gives us a great morale. I got back my ship Chimaera that continue to serve me in trouble. I decided to once again be loyal to our true Emperor
as I always was, and that together we share our happiness and misery and to serve him because It was the only valid what me remained after all.
I'm with you in good and bad and you can always count on me.

It took a war to end a war. Now find ourselves side by side with our former enemy facing the common threat. A situation dire enough to overcome the fear of the stab in the back that so many think is inevitable.

The past is nothing but a memory and this might be best time to forget. All of us have images in our minds that we would rather leave behind, and for the sake of our honour and our future we shall let them go.

Excuse this poetic rambing of an aging soldier, Kondo-sama. Since my discharge I've had the time to put my mind and soul back together. Being fortunate enough to be where the last line of defence of Kusari is, I humbly ask to be re-instated as Kaigun Shoi in the ranks of Kusari Exiles.

Having served under your command, I trust that you have the wisdom to see where my loyalties lie and not be fooled and mislead by the ties of my famliy with Kishiro. While those back in Kusari might had their reasons to surrender, those are of no concern to me any more. I'm not giving up to those traitorous bastards and I will lend my skill and, if necessary, my life to make sure that invaders pay dearly for any inch of space and any Kusari life they took.

Character Name: Youji Nakamura

Character bio: During Youji's youth, he dreamt of bringing his family honor within Kusari. Youji followed the foot steps of his farther after he was killing during a skirmish with the Bretonian Armed Forces. Youji signed up for he Kusari Naval Forces at the age of 19, though he was young he eventually learned to become a fighter pilot. Eventually Youji was promoted to Kaigun Daii (Lieutenant), and with permission of high command, youji was granted the captaincy of a Kusari gunboat. With his experience increasing Youji joined part of the bomber wing of the KNF, as well as it's exploration division.

During a exploration mission within Bretonia, Youji's vessel was ambushed by bretonia armed forces, forcing himself and his crew to engage in a impossible battle were victory was a dream. With this battle hopeless, the crew retreated to a asteroid field where they launched the escape pods and vanished into the crowded asteroid field.

After the long time spent in space, only 2 of the 10 crew returned to a familiar sight. Stoke Mining Station. With the beautiful sight of the Nagasaki.
