I'm curious who here works for Agiera? I've noticed that some of you have formed various divisions of Agiera in the past, but I'm just curious if theres any attempt to form a faction. Please post the names of your ships if you fly with their ID, I'm curious how many there are. Seems like RP'ing Agiera has good potential, since the trade routes to and from their bases are lucrative, and the ID more or less justifies your presence in most of the systems of Sirius.

Mate, one problem immediately:

No Team High-Tech Stuff, Sirius Police...

All factions, regardless of RP, are limited to some kind of ZoI with rare exceptions.

Well, I meant 'presence' in the sense that Ageira ships would have to move through many different systems in order to delivery gate parts / small arms to frontier systems, while bringing raw resources back. That said, I agree it wouldn't make a whole lot of sense if the ships were bringing passengers to resorts, but thats not what I'm suggesting in terms of ZOI.

Btw, what do you mean by "no Team High-Tech", excuse me if this is obvious. I'm new.

Hi, Lane Security is an unofficial faction employed by Ageira Technologies inc. Our CEO is currently in the process of moving and has not yest had the time to get our faction proposal posted. In short, what we do is patrol and protect the tradelanes all throughout Sirius, making sure they stay relatively safe from distuptions and pirates.

Please read more here:

Our main patrol fighter wing currently uses Viper MK2 VHF ships and we are in the process of creating a bomber wing also. We also have a few traders, explorers and associates on our payroll as well. All patrol pilots have the callsign [Lane_Security] before their name. Any more questions, please feel free to PM me anytime.

Lane Security XO 003/Bravo out.

Cool, so there are other Ageira pilots around. From what I understand your group deals mainly with paramilitary operations along the trade lanes. The type of work that I do deals more with moving gate-lane parts and small arms to the frontier, and raw materials on the return. With some limited mining thrown in.

Is there any chance your faction is interested in having a transport division? I would definitely join in that case, and I could probably drag another one or two people in as well.

If theres anyone roleplaying Ageira really well, its Lane Security. I do not know what they have their trading characters as, but this idea is an interesting one.

Indeed, we are interested in doing just that. As of now, I'm usually the only one trading for corporate and private funds. Most of the others usually run patrols. Also, just the other day I got my trader tagged Ageira (finally)...yes!!
I think that would be an excellent idea to have a Lane Security trading division or Ageira trading division tied together with us. Running Gate/Lane parts to the gate construction sites is a lucrative and dangerous business and would make some good adventures for our fighter escort squadron as well. Let me talk with the other heads of Lane Security and see what we can do. I'd also be happy to donate some credits to help dedicated players get a decent trading ship to further the cause.

Feel free to give me any of your ideas and thoughts on this matter either here or in private comms and we'll see how this takes off!!

Lane Security XO 003/Bravo out.

Sorry to take a few days to get back to you on this thread.

I would like to form a trading division for Ageira which of course would be associated with Lane Security. This trading division would basically bring gate/lane parts from Colorado, and Small Arms from New York to a select set of destinations, mostly DSE bases. On the way back to Liberty raw materials would be transported, this would allow for some limited mining.

The trading concept here is not very complicated, but its extremely profitable, and fun to fly if you enjoy the longer range cargo runs.

The funds earned through delivering finished goods and materials could be used to fund the Lane Security division. That way Lane Security could operate without having to worry about funding, while the transport division could rely on an escort from time to time.

If Lane Security began escorting Ageira freighters/transports it would allow you to expand your RP ZOI a tiny little bit, as it would give you an excuse to operate in places like Tau 23.

Naturally we would all need to maintain good relations with DSE and DSE tagged player factions, but that shouldn't be a problem (you guys probably do anyway).

If this division is created it should probably be based out of Pueblo Base in Colorado, although Detroit Munitions is a possibility. At any rate we could organize so each division calls one base their home.

Since you guys in Lane Security already seem to be well organized it would probably be better at first if the transport division became a part of your existing command structure (however it works), but organized as a separate unit, designed to operate with or without Lane Security being present.

Let me know what you think.
