Hello,
I am a player on the Australian Discovery v4.86 non-rp server (Archy's Portal).
I am having some issues with mining, specifically ores.
My FL Companion / FLstat both tell me that ores can not be sold anywhere for anymore than default value.
Yet I've been talking to another player who is telling me that ores are seemingly worth much more per unit than the trade item of the same name, and that my information must be wrong. He says he's proven this on both our server and on RP 24/7. It doesn't make any sense to me, so I'm asking you guys what's going on here.

Is your FL Companion loading from the right game? Is it loading from the running game as well? If yes to both, I'm not sure.

Yes, I made sure FLC was aiming at Discovery Freelancer, not Vanilla. And I have selected get base prices (though I know the admins here don't change the default settings)
I did just confirm in my game selling Silver Ore at Roppongi (sp), is worth a large number, yet it does not appear in FLC / FLStat.
Is there a specific version of these programs that I should be using? Perhaps I've got one which isn't compatible.

For whatever reason, the "import from running game" feature doesn't work for Disco 4.86.

Perhaps, but it seems odd that this is only affecting listings for ores, other mineable materials come up fine.

That is for the discoverygc server, not the one the thread starter is playing on i think.

Be aware that the ore prices are set via a server side override. If the server isn't running FLHook or loading the price overrides, the ore commodities will be largely worthless. Contact your server admin to find this out.

Thanks for the replies everyone.
The problem must be within the programming of FLC, since I can still sell ores at the right places based on the mining guide, they just don't show up in the utilities.
Just something to expect when dealing with having so many new changes and additions to the game I suppose.
