Since the battleships, carriers and other bigger ships are destructable are the fighters/bombers allowed to dock on them during engagments or would that be counted as a death?
other peoples opinions would be liked.

I suggest you will be able to dock on a BS or any other carrier that is fighting (remember Star Wars:)), but if carrier dies, it pulls all those snubcraft into its grave..

It might not count as death if player carriers can't restock a snub.

@OP: Should not. It would mess with the whole idea of using carrier in combat. Especially since the snubs risk PvP death while docked, it should not.
Similar solution should be applied to player-controlled bases (unless they will be virtually indestructible).

I don't think they've been introduced to the game yet same with the jump devices they may be introduced after they fixed most of the server bugs

Currently, you can only get them from the Admin battlestar.
I have heard that you will be able to buy them on player-made bases, but don't quote me on that.
