well i went into Tau-37 tonight and found a surprisingly amount of people online there and virtually all of them were flying Albatross BC's and after talking to them one of the pilots suggested about creating a player IMG faction (not like the =CR= though)
and a most of them did say they would join it if it was created, so if any others are interested in joining would anyone be willing to take on the mantle of Leader? or maybe we could have a few people lead it? this is the main reason i am posting this because although i would love to lead i just havent got the time to run two clans at the same time (i am currently un-officially running another one in a different game)
also if this did go ahead and we reach the point of getting our own system i found that the Orkney or Chester systems might work well. Orkney is leads directly to Tau-23 which would put is straight into IMG/BMM space and the Chester system is located between Newcastle and Dublin (the IMG BS Hood is near the dublin side of the hole wheras the Mollys Belfast Base and the BS Ark Royal are by the Newcastle side of it)
wish i could say more but im really tired and my brain is already starting to sleep heh, so what are your thoughts on this

Sounds like a rather good idea.. I wouldn't mind joining...But I would NOT like to be leader...me and leader do not go in the same boat.

I love the idea, in fact If you have any problems finding a leader one of my Characters, Mink, dosent like taking orders and I have plenty of free time to lead a clan, but I might need someone to help me do the faction request. Im not too good at paper work. I can even supply some money.

Well, if it's an IMG faction, I wouldn't like to see all the members in Albatrosses... I've had a bad experience with them (I've seen them hang outside Crete chillin' with the corsairs...).
The IMG have two parts really. One part, defending their mining operations from BMM and pirates (not just the Outcasts, corsairs in Omega 7 as well!). Second part, mining and trading.
So keep that in mind.

i ran the UKMG not that far back many pepole will remember us.
the char i used to lead the UKMG is still active kind of and still has his IMG id
so if u need someone to keep the group in the IMG RP give us a shout.

good point you brought up about the BC's, i myself wouldent fly the Endeavour if there is another 2 online and instead i would fly my fighter craft
on the other hand we cannot stop Corsairs from buying it either :\ while in the same place last night i heard of something happening with 2 factions possibly creating an alliance in-which the IMG's Albatross would be freely bought by faction who has proposed the alliance:(which would be a shame because the Albatross is meant to be a ship that is 'rarly' seen and if this alliance goes ahead most of them would probably buy them and start populating the house systems with it due to their cheap cost compared to Battleships and Dreadnaughts:((yes, i am not going to say the names of said factions)
well if anyone is willing to lead it i'll be more than happy to help anyway i can
