BBC War News: Gallia Attacks OSC. - Hone - 01-19-2012

Shocking new intelligence from the overrun Edinburgh system reveals true depths Gallia's Greed:

We all know about the sudden and terrible Galliac attack, on the peaceful Bretonian system of Edinburgh, destroying and driving out Bretonian military and police forces, working to protect it's peoples. But since the system's fall to the tyrannous invaders, the people of Bretonia have had no word on te fates of the civillians caught in the terrible crossfire.

However, this has all changed thanks to an exclusive interview the BBC has obtained with [color=#CC0000]Lord Humphrey Beauregard Chanceton
Executive Officer of Oribtal Spa and Cruise. I'm Allus Write, and some viewers may find the following report, disturbing.

Thankyou for Joining us Mr Chanceton

Oh not at all, It's my pleasure Dear Boy

Well, er, could you please tell us what happened at the time of the attack?

Certainly: It was a Usual day at Planet Gaia, I was there on the Isle Of Man, my personal flagship dontyouknow, only a few risible Gaian raids to swat that day, and the crew were feeling rather full of themselves truth be told. Feeling lucky to be alive, and lucky to be there, Gaia is a Lovely place you know. Of course, now we know the others were the lucky ones, the ones who were away...

And that was when Gallia attacked?

Oh yes, the first we knew of it, our sensors started picking up horrendously large numbers of gaian ships approaching. Well, we thought the degenerates had finally gotten sober enough to get organised, and were coming for us! All ships went to battlestations, but the hairy hippies just screamed right past us, and I do mean literally screamed, we could hear them on local coms. We didnt know what to make of it, this horde of gaian ships, pouring from the Lewis jumphole, not even attempting to hide it's location, as they sometimes do, and utterly ignoring us. And that's when the Valors arrived.

That would be the Galliac Battleships, yes?

That's right, and monsters they are too, one after another, they rolled out of the Lewis Jumphole, into the panicking mass of Gaians, and began... Massacring them. To be honest I dont think they were even bothering to aim, simply firing as fast as they could into the mass of gaian ships, and smashing them with their bulk. I later heard that that's how they took the entire system; by amassing a wall of those Valors, advancing from one jumphole to the other in close formation, almost in the manor of the old french lancers, and crushing, literally, anything in their path, that their guns hadn't vapourised.

So how did they react to the presence of OSC?

Well I don't know if it was because we were in battle formation, pointing towards them at the Lewis Jumphole, thanks to those damn Gaians, a parting gift from them. Or if the Frogs were simply maddened with Bloodlust by then, but as soon as they came with range, OSC ships began to die under their guns.

They fired on you? The Galliac Navy fired on Civillian ships?

Oh yes, and it wasnt just us, remember that we are a tour company Mr Write, our ships were full of passengers, hoping to see a good time, instead they saw Hell. Well, we had to react fast, Luxury Liner Shetland, with most of the passengers onboard fled, with a minimal escort, whiloe the rest of us attempted to dely the Galliacs long enough for it to escape. As soon as it was out of range, we, those that were left, surrendered. It was the only thing to do.

*he shakes his head*

We were boarded, rounded up, and packed onto Galliac prisoner transports, whilst they finished exterminating the rest of the Edinburgh system's rightful inhabitants, and then separated out throught the galliac occupying fleet. I was held on the battleship Castres, I suppose because it was the closest one to where we were captured.

So how on Earth did you escape?

Well, I wasnt quite alone, this man, who served as the Bartender on Luxury Liner Shetland, and who gave up his place so that another vacationer could escape, was also onboard, and moreover, he had been pressganged into serving the Galliacs in the same manner, you can see him there in one of their uniforms. The same went for Shetland's comms officer, he was now working on the same Battleship I was held on, in the same capacity. I even heard him refer to it as Shetland as I left... but more on that later. My true stroke of fortune was that the Galliacs had held the Isle of Man with that Battleship. Now I have a very special connection with that ship, Mr Write, it responds to my every whim. And I am not speaking in metaphors, there are some very powerful technologies available in Sirius, to those with enough credits.

*He pauses*

Well, thei- our, bartender... "Distracted" the guards who should have been watching me - thankfully the Galliacs do respect nobility, so I was able to wander, under supervision - our comms officer, accepted the Isle of man's docking request, and I and some others, escaped in the confusion, I'll never forget that Galliac BS shooting at me, while wishing me a safe trip from luxury liner shetland. I just hope our Bartender and officer didn't get... well, hope springs...

Well thankyou very much, Lord Baeureguard Chanceton. Ladies and Gentlemen, as the situation grows worse, and it becomes obvious that this is not a missunderstanding, and there will be no peace with Gallia, it behooves us to know our enemy, and what depths they will descend to. Im BBC reporter Allus Write, and as always:
