Greetings, peaceful Zoners.

The Red Hessian Oberkommando feels the need to direct your attention to today's events surrounding Freeport 5 after what was essentially a textbook battle against the barbaric Corsairs, the same ones who constantly threaten the sovereignty of several of your bases. The Corsair leaders, hateful at the fact that their forces continue to suffer defeat after defeat, have resorted to digging up Zoner laws and attempting to drag the Zoners into their conflict by requesting influence over the docking permissions of Freeport 5.

It is our belief that the Corsairs will attempt to either influence the administrator of Freeport 5 through coercion and threats in order to penalise Hessian trade coming to and from the base, or they will outright use it as an excuse to begin anew their attacks on Zoner holdings across Omega sector space.

We are contacting you in order to warn you of such a possibility. Zoner freeports should begin defense preparations so that you are ready in case of yet another all out strike.

The Red Hessian Revolutionary Council is adamant in stating that the recent events at Freeport 9 must not happen again. Should the Corsairs begin outright attacking your ships or stations, the Red Hessian movement will pledge its support to the defense of Zoner sovereignty in the region. Hopefully we can support each other with trade and force of arms in the event of a worst case scenario.

Regards,
RHA Oberkommando

*From New Lusitania, Gran Canaria*

Greetings

My name is Henrique and i'm the manager of a small Zoner community on Gran Canaria, call new Lusitania.

We never had any problems with any of your ships, even on Omega 5 and Omega 11 and all your pilots greet ours, and to you i give my thanks and my appreciation.

What i would like to ask to the Oberkommando is simple ... we have nothing to do with your raids on Omicron Gamma, but i would like to ask is please don't use our bases. Is just that what we need, that is the most important, and also your politeness to our ships.

Best regards

Henrique

Guten tag, Herr Henrique.

I just want to assure you that the Red Hessians do not nor have they ever based themselves out of a Freeport in order to conduct offensive operations. All our access requests have always been for purposes of trade or temporary sanctuary. The current issues are a result of Corsair attempts to force the Zoners onto their side, as all of their attempts in the past did. Please do not buy into their propaganda.

Regards,
Hoerst

Greetings Hessians,

Don't worry, we are not blind and clearly see in the corsair game.
We won't take action against people using our base because corsairs attack us, we have never negotiated under such pressures and we won't begin today.

Rubbish and lies,

The zoners of freeport 5 are still neutral and will remain neutral. There have been no infiltrations, if there had been, I would have noticed, not that many people live here. The few new residents we have gotten in the last few months is a crew of a Rheinland smuggler vessel and several scientists linked to Ames Research station.

Nothing of importance has happend. No threats have been made. The only threatening events we had where ships combatting one another in our NFZ and several folks fleeing to my base. As well as a Bounty hunter cruiser bashing into a docking port.

Propaganda to side with the hessians in this conflict. I'm not buying it and neither should my fellow zoners!

Greetings, Zoners.

In light of the announcement by the TAZ regarding the docking restrictions on the Freeports within the boundaries of Red Hessian owned space, the Oberkommando wishes to urge you one more time to reconsider your actions and look at the big picture.

The Corsair menace will not stop until it has backed you into a corner. First Omicron Theta and Omega-41, and then what? Perhaps Omicron Delta and Omega-3? Or maybe even Omega-49? They will never stop until you bow down before them and swear allegiance, or they have put every Zoner in their territory on the firing line.

If you decide to stand against the unilateral proclamation of the Corsairs, so that you can preserve the Zoner way of freedom on your stations, the numerous Red Hessian fleets will stand with you to defend what you stand for. We have no doubt that many different factions in Sirius will commit forces to this endeavour, and together we can bring down the Corsair stranglehold over your stations once and for all.

You can either choose that, or live under the yoke of the Corsair police state as their protectorate. The free people of Sirius cannot let this imperialist presence reign them in once more, in spite of all their efforts to get away from it. Just give us the message and we will stand with you, and we will bring more allies with us than the Corsairs could ever imagine we can muster.

Regards,
RHA Oberkommando

Good evening,

Your plans seem to be on the same frequency as mine. I was thinking of a way like the one you described but as administrator of Freeport 9 I will respect the decisions of TAZ... for now. If this will prove to be a total failure and I can already smell that's what it will be I will contact you and your allies to organize something. The balance of forces in Theta is about to swing in the favor of the Corsairs and it is my job to bring it back.

It's good to know that I can count on you.

As a side note, I would like to request that your forces stay away from Freeport Nine and Corfu during the TAZ lockdown.

Freeport 9 Administrator
