Replacement for Imageshack - Battlesnax - 02-07-2012

I've always used Imageshack to host my FL screenshots for forum reports and what not.
But Imageshack is being annoying and recently forced me to register on the site.
Over the last many months, it's gotten slower and clumsier to navigate through.
I just want a link to the big image that I uploaded with a URL that ends in .png , but it makes me click through thumbnails and viewers and a bunch of garbage just to get there.
So I am looking for a new site to host my FL screenshots.

What do you people use and recommend? Important factors for me are speed, easy-of-use, and longevity of uploaded photos. Thanks.

I can recommend imgur.com.
It's simple, free, and it autoconverts BMP to something more suitable!

As recommended by your admins for sanction reports please ... Image shack is now pretty much unusable
for those of us who don't have an account, and pretty much refuse to open one now.

Dropbox is another good alternative.

Dropbox is not an alternative, unfortunately. It forces us to DL all the pics. Those pics ain't small. We prefer imgur or photobucket. Imgur for best results.

You have to download everything you see online anyway. How does that work any differently to imgur? o.O

Thats odd. I've never had an issue clicking a dropbox link and it opening in a browser.

Imgur only stores it in temporary files, Dropbox Dl's it to the comp itself. Dropbox also therefore takes time to DL the files. Imgur does not. Thusly Imgur is the preffered option.

Vista issue possibly, right clicking and opening in new tab on Chrome DL's it. No idea why.
