[font=Courier New]INTELLIGENCE DIVISION HASAKI WAS FORMED IN 818 A.S. BY SECTION CHIEF (S.C.) HIROTO KOBAYASHI AS A RESPONSE TO THE CHAIN OF EVENTS SURROUNDING OPERATION TORPEDO (OP-T). REI KATO WHOM WAS INITIALLY TASKED WITH OP-T WAS POSITIONED AS THE SPECIAL FORCES COMMANDER (S.F.C.) OF THE HASAKI. SEVERAL OPERATIVES WERE ADDED TO THE TEAM SHORTLY THEREAFTER. ALL OPERATIVES ARE RANKED EQUALLY WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE S.F.C. AS OF 819 A.S. THE HEAD SUPERVISOR OF THE SPECIAL FORCES BRANCH WITHIN THE KEMPEITAI IS S.C. KEIJI SHIBAZAKI. MISSION BRIEFINGS ARE RECEIVED AND ACKNOWLEDGED VIA S.F.C. OMEN DENG.

[font=Courier New]“The Man Behind the Curtain”, an highly efficient assassin who is suspected to be responsible for the deaths of several key politicians during the ruling period of 818 A.S. Gathered leads have been cross-referenced and matches the profile of one Alexander Yamakazi. Previously, a Special Forces Commander for the Dragon's Tooth Delta Squadron (ST-ARCHIVE 11A), currently a branded traitor of the Kusari Empire and listed as one of the top ten wanted criminals on the Kusari Bounty Board. Intelligence has confirmed that A. Yamakazi utilizes a B50P "Katana" Blood Dragon Very Heavy Fighter and flies under a Blood Dragon transponder. You are authorized to locate and arrest A. Yamakazi or alternatively neutralize the target on sight.

[font=Courier New]With the war against Bretonia having reached its closure, several key events have reshaped the ruling government of Kusari. The current economy and market values surrounding the business aspects of the Kusari House has risen to a critical point and if it continues to stagnate we will be entering a new dark age of financial instability along with supply shocks that will cause inflation. In order to combat these potential threats we need to expand our Foreign Internal Defense program. That means a higher presence on merchant lanes, defensive positions around choke points and an aggressive approach towards pirate activity. The main goal is to maintain a steady flow of transports coming in and out of Kusari, as well as creating a safe atmosphere which encourages corporations to continue their businesses with our house.

[font=Courier New]Besides the larger criminal organization that are either stationed in Kusari or operate via our jurisdiction, the Kusari Empire is currently not at war with any other house. That however does not necessarily mean we are in good terms with our fellow neighbors. Intelligence Division Hasaki have been instructed by higher authorities to conduct both counter-intelligence within our borders and perform special reconnaissance around targeted areas. Focus have been primarily set on the Bretonian House and the Kingdom of Gallia. Further objectives have been withheld until additional evidence has been gathered.

[font=Courier New]Intelligence has confirmed that there remains a significant combat force of Kusari Pilots inside Bretonian jurisdiction along with the former Kusari Emperor, Jien Kogen. Past engagements has provided the Kempeitai with the insight to conclude that this force is to be regarded as deserters of the Kusari Empire and therefore fall under the authorization of a Kill on Sight order. Our primary objective is to arrest the former Emperor and neutralize any and all pilots under his direct command. Unconventional warfare will be applied to this scenario and all operatives are advised to use any method available to win the battles. Further information on how we will approach the targets will remain classified and specific instructions are available on a separate document.
