Are there any Portuguese speakers on this forum. There is a player Ikaro, who is trying to play a FA char, he is not AFA, and wont be, but I've been trying to help him out. He seems to be a real nice guy, his English is just utterly bad. He doesn't really bother anybody, and I think with a little help he can get his rep in place, and then he would probably just sit in Kyushu all day shooting npcs not bothering anyone. Is there anyone you can translate for me so I can help him out?

I think i have actually met him in game before.
Sorry i can't help, i know English and bad Chinese. A lot of the indy non English speakers on the server seemed nice enough - kinda feel like i wanna help them when i can so as to avoid them getting snapped for OORP behavior - which i think happens cos they don't speak english, not because they are bad role players.

Noble of you and Kudos to you for that... actually I met him on my RoS in Alpha today.. he had Kusari BS, Xeno tag and AFA ID i think, we tried to talk to him but he didn't understand .... all happened pretty fast and he tried to dock on Malta and we killed him *blushes*
Damn... I feel bad about this ... I hope Thiago will help him..

Fair play for helping him out, but might want to mention downgrading or getting a new farmer character that isn't in a battleship. I don't ideally want to be running through Kyushu on my GC character and getting shot at by an indie Farmer in a Kusari battleship with whom i can't even converse in any real way. I'm sure others might say the same.

I used to take elective Portuguese classes at university, but I sucked and didn't try hard enough... but I'd appreciate a chance to try in a less formal setting... so if Gronath or Ikaro would like to help me out in a couple of months, once my holidays start, I'd really appreciate it. (I'm willing to help out non-native English speakers with (UK) English too.:))
