Subject: Requesting permission for scientific survey

Greetings, to all who it may concern. My name is Katherine Pennybrooke. I'm a scientifically inclined Bretonian and have travelled Sirius extensively with my brother Edwin and a team of scientists in our specially outfitted exploratory vessel, the RV-Pennybrooke.
We are independent researchers, exploring the Sirius sector motivated by nothing more than scientific curiosity.
Despite some....setbacks, I can proudly say we've seen and studied many exotic corners of the sector.
Naturally, we're very interested in the little-explored Omicrons, a part of Sirius that is at least partially under your control.
Let me get to the matter at hand: we seek, purely in the interest of science, permission to enter and study the systems under your control. This would include landing robotic probes on planets and possibly asteroids.
We are not in the employ of any governmental, corporate, or other faction. We would never share any data of military importance with anyone....only things like atmospheric, gravitational and radiation readings, and such.
Our ship, which is an "Ahoudori" T-833-GB-class exploratory vessel, is armed only with a single turret to extract mineral samples.
We serve no one in particular, only humanity as a whole. We would be most grateful if we could work in your space for that benefit.

If you have any more questions about our motives and methods, I'd be happy to answer.

Thank you for your time, Katherine Pennybrooke.

If you haven't noticed yet, what you could call Order space has been erased from maps of Sirius. So better stay out of this graveyard until you want to get killed by Nomads or cook yourself on surface of what used to be Toledo. Anyone who managed to survive left that place.

To Katherine Pennybrooke, my name is Seraphin Ailes, Lieutenant Commander within the Order Elite Forces or OEF. I must admit that exploring the Omicrons is dangerous not because of what the Order must protect but other factions as well. By going through this length of trouble just to do some deep space exploration, I can tell you that if you would like to proceed throughout the Omicrons, mearly look for me, or anyone within our organization (OEF tags) and not only will I grant passage, i'll personally offer escort services if anyone else decides to give you trouble. We do try to maintain a constant stream of security within our borders however these are some of the few exceptions we can allow. We do appreciate the heads up.

Thank you so much for your reply, Ms Ailes. We have some experience dealing with the dangers of the Omicrons, including dealing with other factions. Using diplomacy didn't always get us what we wanted, but at least we've never been openly attacked.
In any case, I'm very happy to hear your positive response to our request. We will certainly always cooperate when receiving instructions from any Order vessels, and I hope to see you in the Omicrons soon!

Yours, Katherine Pennybrooke
