Here's the deal. Was destroying some NPC Wilds and they dropped a Nomad Energy Cannon. Am I allowed to use it? For RP sales and such or is it against a rule somewhere. Since it was not obtained illegally, I don't think there should be.

Sounds like you found the mountable Nomad gun, the kind which the Order was allowed to use back in 4.85.
Perfectly legit.
For the record, I think it's supposed to be a rather uncommon loot drop.

i also have some of those, but if you use it on a non order or nomad/wilde ship you will have massive nerf.
for rp you can use as research or war trophies

The idea is to use them as weapons research and character RP of some sort. With that said, just got a Nomad Energy Blaster as well. These drop like flies.

That was when the tech chart still was there. It is not any longer, so it doesn't matter...at least for what I have heard.

btw. i posted the blaster infocard. cuz i dun use cannons. but the infocard are almost the same.
