I'm a citizen of Cambridge, so needless to say Bretonian politics affect me. Of course, any Bretonian that hasn't been living in a cave on Sprague is surely concerned about the state of affairs. But I ask you, is joining the Armed Forces really the solution? The people of Bretonia have had enough of war, Leeds is ravaged, the economy is focused entirely on the war effort, pirates from the Omegas roam freely in Cambridge due to the BAF generally being elsewhere.... I think I speak for many fellow Bretonians when I say that what we really want to see, is a credible diplomatic effort by the Crown. As far as I know, there has been little effort to establish relations with the new Kusari government. Why not? The war with Kusari is a sham at this point, as the frontline is controlled by the Gallics. Which brings me to the next point. Although of course I deeply respect and support the BAF and Kusari exiled forces that fight to keep the Gallic invaders at bay, I haven't seen any real diplomatic effort on this front either. Having been to Gallia and talked to a GRN captain for a length of time, I think it must be stated at this point that the Gallics are surely not just a bunch of imperialistic aggressors. I'm sure there is room for diplomacy here, and frankly with the state of Bretonia being as it is, it is going to be necessary sooner or later. To summarize; in all of Sirius there are wars going, once fruitful trade routes have been made impassable, and everyone is suffering for it. It's time we made more of an effort for peace, rather than war. Also Gallia I think you misunderstand as an enemy they are an unknown house that have remained hidden in Sirius for over 800 Years. In that time they have amassed into a military superpower that have literally swept Kusari to one side. The Gallic Kingdom is run by a Tyrannical King with whom there can be no negotiations so the only option that has been left to us is to fight hard for every inch of ground we claim our own and give those bastards nothing. They want to sweep Bretonia under the rug and then the rest of Sirius, so there can be no peace only War. A Scorched Earth policy is the only thing we should show these Frogs and nothing more!
