It could be pretty devastating if we really do get hit by a storm. As for December 2012 this year, I'll still be throwing a party before "the end of the world". It's as good an excuse as any for a party. Besides, it'll be funny to watch all these people committing suicide and stuff. As for that link in the first post about the whole mayan calendar thing, I would point out that that is in regards to the Julian calendar, and we currently use the Gregorian calendar, which was an attempt to correct all the issues with the Julian one. Besides, the Mayan calendar was far more accurate than even the one we use today, so I expect it probably takes into account leap years and stuff XD |
