Legate
Why does it only have 18 turrets while the
Ranseur has 20, all of which firing
forwards?
I suggest the old balance, when both had 16
turrets. Now the Legate should have 20, too.
It should be noted that the Corsairs are
going to invade Rheinland, who has Green
bricks.
And they also fight occasional Nomads
Marduks in Delta. So their heavy
Dreadnought must be at least able to deal
some damage before going to oblivion.
That's my opinion. (Is this the right thread?)

Its true, but I'd rather see something done about the handling in rocks.

We can do little with them in any decent space of time - O41, Kappa/Lambda/Theta jumpholes all surrounded by rocks, Lambda/Kappa full of rocks.

All that happens is our enemies stay near the O41 jumphole/Malvada, so we can't use our dreadnought.

That's the real imbalance. We can still take Ranseurs pretty well.

The amount of secondaries is not as important as the amount of Primaries and Heavies. So long as they are the same/small difference, it should be okay.

I don't think battleships should be effective in asteroid fields.

your battlesheep got bugged hitbox

your battlesheep it's OP anyway. You don't need to use all the guns to kill someone you need to be smart and get them while they'r off guard and basicaly your capital ships are the defense of<strike> malta</strike> crete.

They don't need to be effective. They just need to be usable.

The only option for us to deal with Hessian incursions especially, is to take Osiris; due to our geographical location, our most powerful ship(that you claim is 'OP') is generally unusable, except for missions and other trivial pursuits. Its like a mini-barge situation to even try getting the ship somewhere for conflict.

Basically, we can't use Class 10 battleship weapons; we only get one mount on the Osiris. How exactly is that OP?

Well maybe that, cuz in 4.85 I could use Nova to kill Legates...
Well, I'm not very good captain, but at least, the number of turrets should make sense. Lore wise, the Corsairs are good if not best shipbuilders, their capitals should be small while still be powerful and having enough hardpoints to ultilize the advantage of their powerful turrets.

And yes, anything larger than gunboats should be STUCK in asteroid field. That's realistic and can help prevent LOLraids in factions' homeworlds.

We're the ones who get lolraided by Hessians and Hunters, primarily; their caps don't have the same problems as ours. We can't fight them with Legates anywhere but in open space, usually by Tripoli, which is already too close to home.

Sadly that's right, there are LOLraid at Gamma everyday, with those Hessians and Bunties in their caps.
Put some real power on the unusable Legates and Osiris please.

It is np- so Legate fits the line- crap LF, crap HFx2, Crap bomber,crap cruiser and crap BSx2.
So only Titan and Corsair GB are not underdogs compared with the other ships of its class.
Tizzonas nerfed with 100-200 dps, Salamancas nerfed with more energy use making them not useful on the corsair crap HF, corsair small battleship turret is also gone... it was nice gun with 4 refire and good DPS.
So in the line of the corsair nerf you should actually ask to remove 2 turrets from legate instead to make it equal to OC Dread.

Ah I forget Gamma got invidious and invisible defenses right now- cap patrols that would never show if there are more then 100 people in the server, and under 100 people are no rides.:lol:

You forgot to add crap skills along with all these ships because that's what Corsair players need, skills.
